nṛdhūto adriṣuto barhiṣi priyaḥ patirgavāṃ pradiva indurṛtviyaḥ puraṃdhivānmanuṣo yajñasādhanaḥ śucirdhiyā pavate soma indra te
The lord, exultant, unseen on the heights, favoured in the chant, gives the cows like a loving husband; like a bright moon he bestows. The householder‑man, devoted to sacred rites, pure in thought and action—may Soma and Indra protect him.
Shaken by the men, expressed by the stones, the delight (of the gods), the lord of cattle, ancient, distilling (in the vessels) born in due season, (the Soma is plural ced) on the sacrd grass; intelligent, the material of the sacrifice of man, pure, the Soma flows for you, Indra,of his own accord.
Washed by the men, stone-pressed, dear on the holy grass, faithful to seasons, Lord of cattle from of old, Most liberal, completing sacrifice for men, O Indra, pure bright Soma, Indu, flows for thee.
