आ नो॒ विश्वा॑भिरू॒तिभि॒रश्वि॑ना॒ गच्छ॑तं यु॒वम् । दस्रा॒ हिर॑ण्यवर्तनी॒ पिब॑तं सो॒म्यं मधु॑
ā no viśvābhirūtibhiraśvinā gacchataṃ yuvam dasrā hiraṇyavartanī pibataṃ somyaṃ madhu
Come to us, you who go with all-voiced chariots, you two horses; drink the honey of the golden-streaming cup.

ā nūnaṃ yātamaśvinā rathena sūryatvacā bhujī hiraṇyapeśasā kavī gambhīracetasā
Now come, O Ashvins, with your chariot, O Sun-skins; eat the meat with golden thighs, poets of deep mind.

ā yātaṃ nahuṣasparyāntarikṣātsuvṛktibhiḥ pibātho aśvinā madhu kaṇvānāṃ savane sutam
Come that which came from the heavens, O Ashvins, with well-formed hymns from the atmosphere; drink the sweet mead for the Kanvas' praise in the sacrifice.

ā no yātaṃ divasparyāntarikṣādadhapriyā putraḥ kaṇvasya vāmiha suṣāva somyaṃ madhu
May the two Ashvins bring unto us from the open heaven, beloved from the mid‑air, the son of Kanva, O gentle one, Soma’s sweet draught.

ā no yātamupaśrutyaśvinā somapītaye svāhā stomasya vardhanā pra kavī dhītibhirnarā
May the Ashvins come to us, having heard, to drink Soma. Svaha — increase the hymn; let the poets, with inspired minds, strengthen it for men.

yacciddhi vāṃ pura ṛṣayo juhūre'vase narā ā yātamaśvinā gatamupemāṃ suṣṭutiṃ mama
What the seers offered in the ancient town that was fitting for men — O Ashvins who have come, accept this well‑spoken praise of mine.

divaścidrocanādadhyā no gantaṃ svarvidā dhībhirvatsapracetasā stomebhirhavanaśrutā
From the radiant, open heaven they came to us, knowing the heavens. With thoughtful minds and the voice of praise, they heard the oblation of the hymn.

किम॒न्ये पर्या॑सते॒ऽस्मत्स्तोमे॑भिर॒श्विना॑ । पु॒त्रः कण्व॑स्य वा॒मृषि॑र्गी॒र्भिर्व॒त्सो अ॑वीवृधत्
kimanye paryāsate'smatstomebhiraśvinā putraḥ kaṇvasya vāmṛṣirgīrbhirvatso avīvṛdhat
What more is there that the Ashvins leave to our hymns? The son of Kanva, the sage, with inspired words, the calf waxed vigorous.

आ वां॒ विप्र॑ इ॒हाव॒सेऽह्व॒त्स्तोमे॑भिरश्विना । अरि॑प्रा॒ वृत्र॑हन्तमा॒ ता नो॑ भूतं मयो॒भुवा॑
ā vāṃ vipra ihāvase'hvatstomebhiraśvinā ariprā vṛtrahantamā tā no bhūtaṃ mayobhuvā
Wise one, call us here with hymns, O Ashvins. The slayer of foes brought forth; be our being filled with wealth.

ā yadvāṃ yoṣaṇā rathamatiṣṭhadvājinīvasū viśvānyaśvinā yuvaṃ pra dhītānyagacchatam
When the damsel set the car in motion, clad like a bannered one, all Ashvins, you together came forth, arriving with inspired songs.

अतः॑ स॒हस्र॑निर्णिजा॒ रथे॒ना या॑तमश्विना । व॒त्सो वां॒ मधु॑म॒द्वचोऽशं॑सीत्का॒व्यः क॒विः
ataḥ sahasranirṇijā rathenā yātamaśvinā vatso vāṃ madhumadvaco'śaṃsītkāvyaḥ kaviḥ
Therefore the thousand‑nerved chariot of the Ashvins came; their calves of praise uplifted your honeyed speech — the poet was inspired.

purumandrā purūvasū manotarā rayīṇām stomaṃ me aśvināvimamabhi vahnī anūṣātām
Purumindra, ancient‑robed, more swift of mind than streams — O Ashvins, place my hymn near the fire and favour it to be offered.

आ नो॒ विश्वा॑न्यश्विना ध॒त्तं राधां॒स्यह्र॑या । कृ॒तं न॑ ऋ॒त्विया॑वतो॒ मा नो॑ रीरधतं नि॒दे
ā no viśvānyaśvinā dhattaṃ rādhāṃsyahrayā kṛtaṃ na ṛtviyāvato mā no rīradhataṃ nide
May all Ashvins grant us splendour, radiant with ploughshare and field. Make the rite complete; let the seasoning not diminish our share.

यन्ना॑सत्या परा॒वति॒ यद्वा॒ स्थो अध्यम्ब॑रे । अतः॑ स॒हस्र॑निर्णिजा॒ रथे॒ना या॑तमश्विना
yannāsatyā parāvati yadvā stho adhyambare ataḥ sahasranirṇijā rathenā yātamaśvinā
That which does not go beyond truth, that which stands firm under the wide sky — therefore the thousand‑nerved chariot of the Ashvins came.

यो वां॑ नासत्या॒वृषि॑र्गी॒र्भिर्व॒त्सो अवी॑वृधत् । तस्मै॑ स॒हस्र॑निर्णिज॒मिषं॑ धत्तं घृत॒श्चुत॑म्
yo vāṃ nāsatyāvṛṣirgīrbhirvatso avīvṛdhat tasmai sahasranirṇijamiṣaṃ dhattaṃ ghṛtaścutam
He who, O Ashvins, did not envelop you — with inspired words the calf waxed vigorous. To him place the thousand‑nerved butter, and the clarified ghee.

प्रास्मा॒ ऊर्जं॑ घृत॒श्चुत॒मश्वि॑ना॒ यच्छ॑तं यु॒वम् । यो वां॑ सु॒म्नाय॑ तु॒ष्टव॑द्वसू॒याद्दा॑नुनस्पती
prāsmā ūrjaṃ ghṛtaścutamaśvinā yacchataṃ yuvam yo vāṃ sumnāya tuṣṭavadvasūyāddānunaspatī
Bring us the strong butter and clarified ghee, Ashvins, what you have cut, O you who are pleased with praise; O Lord of gifts, grant it to him.

ā no gantaṃ riśādasemaṃ stomaṃ purubhujā kṛtaṃ naḥ suśriyo naremā dātamabhiṣṭaye
May the radiant one come to us with hymns, O wielder of strength. Make for us a lasting fame, O men, given for our desire.

ā vāṃ viśvābhirūtibhiḥ priyamedhā ahūṣata rājantāvadhvarāṇāmaśvinā yāmahūtiṣu
May all the Ashvins, with honors, call us dear of mind. O Ashvins, you have yoked the royal ones in the sacrificial steeds.

आ नो॑ गन्तं मयो॒भुवाश्वि॑ना श॒म्भुवा॑ यु॒वम् । यो वां॑ विपन्यू धी॒तिभि॑र्गी॒र्भिर्व॒त्सो अवी॑वृधत्
ā no gantaṃ mayobhuvāśvinā śambhuvā yuvam yo vāṃ vipanyū dhītibhirgīrbhirvatso avīvṛdhat
May those born from us come, O Ashvins, prosperous and auspicious, ye who expanded with inspired words the calf of praise.

yābhiḥ kaṇvaṃ medhātithiṃ yābhirvaśaṃ daśavrajam yābhirgośaryamāvataṃ tābhirno'vataṃ narā
By whom the Kanva’s intellect was shaped, by whom the ten‑charioted hosts were governed; by whose powers the oxen moved toward us — those very ones turned to us, O men.

yābhirnarā trasadasyumāvataṃ kṛtvye dhane tābhiḥ ṣva1smām̐ aśvinā prāvataṃ vājasātaye
By whom the men of threefold feet came to us with riches, having made the treasure; by them, O Ashvins, bring us the booty for the wealth‑giving rite.

प्र वां॒ स्तोमाः॑ सुवृ॒क्तयो॒ गिरो॑ वर्धन्त्वश्विना । पुरु॑त्रा॒ वृत्र॑हन्तमा॒ ता नो॑ भूतं पुरु॒स्पृहा॑
pra vāṃ stomāḥ suvṛktayo giro vardhantvaśvinā purutrā vṛtrahantamā tā no bhūtaṃ puruspṛhā
To you, whose hymns are well‑formed, may praise increase, O Ashvins. The destroyers of the Vrtra for the folk, those have been our ancient longing.

त्रीणि॑ प॒दान्य॒श्विनो॑रा॒विः सान्ति॒ गुहा॑ प॒रः । क॒वी ऋ॒तस्य॒ पत्म॑भिर॒र्वाग्जी॒वेभ्य॒स्परि॑
trīṇi padānyaśvinorāviḥ sānti guhā paraḥ kavī ṛtasya patmabhirarvāgjīvebhyaspari
Three‑footed are the Ashvins, the radiant ones; the cave is far beyond. Poet of order, with ancestral spoke, O living ones, bestow speech.
