ओ श्रु॒ष्टिर्वि॑द॒थ्या॒३॒॑ समे॑तु॒ प्रति॒ स्तोमं॑ दधीमहि तु॒राणा॑म् । यद॒द्य दे॒वः स॑वि॒ता सु॒वाति॒ स्यामा॑स्य र॒त्निनो॑ विभा॒गे
o śruṣṭirvidathyā3 sametu prati stomaṃ dadhīmahi turāṇām yadadya devaḥ savitā suvāti syāmāsya ratnino vibhāge
O hearers, bring the song of wide fame; let us set the hymn in order for the swift ones. Whatever god Savitar bestows, may we partake of his share of jewels.

मि॒त्रस्तन्नो॒ वरु॑णो॒ रोद॑सी च॒ द्युभ॑क्त॒मिन्द्रो॑ अर्य॒मा द॑दातु । दिदे॑ष्टु दे॒व्यदि॑ती॒ रेक्णो॑ वा॒युश्च॒ यन्नि॑यु॒वैते॒ भग॑श्च
mitrastanno varuṇo rodasī ca dyubhaktamindro aryamā dadātu dideṣṭu devyaditī rekṇo vāyuśca yanniyuvaite bhagaśca
May Mitra, Varuna, Dawn, the gods who favor the sky, Indra and Aryaman give this day’s share. May the goddess Diti, and Vāyu grant what the divine ones ordain and these prosperous beings bestow.

सेदु॒ग्रो अ॑स्तु मरुतः॒ स शु॒ष्मी यं मर्त्यं॑ पृषदश्वा॒ अवा॑थ । उ॒तेम॒ग्निः सर॑स्वती जु॒नन्ति॒ न तस्य॑ रा॒यः प॑र्ये॒तास्ति॑
sedugro astu marutaḥ sa śuṣmī yaṃ martyaṃ pṛṣadaśvā avātha utemagniḥ sarasvatī junanti na tasya rāyaḥ paryetāsti
May the Marut’s friend be vigorous; may he, the archer, send forth the man who is mortal mounted on horses. Agni and Sarasvatī honor the hymn; his dominion does not reach an end.

अ॒यं हि ने॒ता वरु॑ण ऋ॒तस्य॑ मि॒त्रो राजा॑नो अर्य॒मापो॒ धुः । सु॒हवा॑ दे॒व्यदि॑तिरन॒र्वा ते नो॒ अंहो॒ अति॑ पर्ष॒न्नरि॑ष्टान्
ayaṃ hi netā varuṇa ṛtasya mitro rājāno aryamāpo dhuḥ suhavā devyaditiranarvā te no aṃho ati parṣannariṣṭān
This lord is the leader, Varuna of ṛta, Mitra the king of people, Aryaman the waters’ purifier. May generous Diti and Aditi be with us; they avert the angry harms from us.

अ॒स्य दे॒वस्य॑ मी॒ळ्हुषो॑ व॒या विष्णो॑रे॒षस्य॑ प्रभृ॒थे ह॒विर्भिः॑ । वि॒दे हि रु॒द्रो रु॒द्रियं॑ महि॒त्वं या॑सि॒ष्टं व॒र्तिर॑श्विना॒विरा॑वत्
asya devasya mīḷhuṣo vayā viṣṇoreṣasya prabhṛthe havirbhiḥ vide hi rudro rudriyaṃ mahitvaṃ yāsiṣṭaṃ vartiraśvināvirāvat
For this god the priest prepares the oblation with reverence; Rudra indeed proclaimed the mighty greatness, the order which the Ashvins brought forth.

मात्र॑ पूषन्नाघृण इरस्यो॒ वरू॑त्री॒ यद्रा॑ति॒षाच॑श्च॒ रास॑न् । म॒यो॒भुवो॑ नो॒ अर्व॑न्तो॒ नि पा॑न्तु वृ॒ष्टिं परि॑ज्मा॒ वातो॑ ददातु
mātra pūṣannāghṛṇa irasyo varūtrī yadrātiṣācaśca rāsan mayobhuvo no arvanto ni pāntu vṛṣṭiṃ parijmā vāto dadātu
Pūṣan measured out the portion; Varuṇtrī and those who move at the forms arranged the courses. May those born of Maya bring us rain; may the winds grant full showers around us.

नू रोद॑सी अ॒भिष्टु॑ते॒ वसि॑ष्ठैरृ॒तावा॑नो॒ वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॒ग्निः । यच्छ॑न्तु च॒न्द्रा उ॑प॒मं नो॑ अ॒र्कं यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः
nū rodasī abhiṣṭute vasiṣṭhairṛtāvāno varuṇo mitro agniḥ yacchantu candrā upamaṃ no arkaṃ yūyaṃ pāta svastibhiḥ sadā naḥ
(repeat) O radiant Dawn, be propitious as wished by the Vasisṭhas; Varuna, Mitra and Agni are favourable. Let the moons grant us the sunlike counterpart; you, protect us always with blessings.
