o śruṣṭirvidathyā3 sametu prati stomaṃ dadhīmahi turāṇām yadadya devaḥ savitā suvāti syāmāsya ratnino vibhāge
O hearers, bring the song of wide fame; let us set the hymn in order for the swift ones. Whatever god Savitar bestows, may we partake of his share of jewels.
May the satisfaction derived from pious rites come to us as we contemplate the glorification of the swiftmoving (divinities); may we be included in the apportionment by that wealth-bestowing deity (of the riches) whichthe divine Savitā goday distributes.
BE gathered all the audience of the synod: let us begin their praise whose course is rapid. Whate'er God Savitar this day produces, may we be where the Wealthy One distributes.
