sedugro astu marutaḥ sa śuṣmī yaṃ martyaṃ pṛṣadaśvā avātha utemagniḥ sarasvatī junanti na tasya rāyaḥ paryetāsti
May the Marut’s friend be vigorous; may he, the archer, send forth the man who is mortal mounted on horses. Agni and Sarasvatī honor the hymn; his dominion does not reach an end.
Maruts, whose steeds are the spotted deer, may the mortal whom you protect the resolute, be strong, for him Agni and Sarasvatī also defend, and there be no despoiler of his riches.
Strong be the man and full of power, O Maruts, whom ye, borne on by spotted coursers, favour. Him, too, Sarasvati and Agni further, and there is none to rob him of his riches.
