अ॒र्वाग्रथं॑ वि॒श्ववा॑रं त उ॒ग्रेन्द्र॑ यु॒क्तासो॒ हर॑यो वहन्तु । की॒रिश्चि॒द्धि त्वा॒ हव॑ते॒ स्व॑र्वानृधी॒महि॑ सध॒माद॑स्ते अ॒द्य
arvāgrathaṃ viśvavāraṃ ta ugrendra yuktāso harayo vahantu kīriściddhi tvā havate svarvānṛdhīmahi sadhamādaste adya
Lead the foremost swift, the universal chariot, O mighty Indra; may the victorious steeds carry you. Fame and glory invoke you today, O lord, may the assembly of the gods grant steadfastness to you.

प्रो द्रोणे॒ हर॑यः॒ कर्मा॑ग्मन्पुना॒नास॒ ऋज्य॑न्तो अभूवन् । इन्द्रो॑ नो अ॒स्य पू॒र्व्यः प॑पीयाद्द्यु॒क्षो मद॑स्य सो॒म्यस्य॒ राजा॑
pro droṇe harayaḥ karmāgmanpunānāsa ṛjyanto abhūvan indro no asya pūrvyaḥ papīyāddyukṣo madasya somyasya rājā
The doers of works returned to the pit; they became well-formed. Indra, our ancient one, be gracious—may the sky be favourable to my Soma, O king.

आ॒स॒स्रा॒णासः॑ शवसा॒नमच्छेन्द्रं॑ सुच॒क्रे र॒थ्या॑सो॒ अश्वाः॑ । अ॒भि श्रव॒ ऋज्य॑न्तो वहेयु॒र्नू चि॒न्नु वा॒योर॒मृतं॒ वि द॑स्येत्
āsasrāṇāsaḥ śavasānamacchendraṃ sucakre rathyāso aśvāḥ abhi śrava ṛjyanto vaheyurnū cinnu vāyoramṛtaṃ vi dasyet
He yoked the chariots of life to the coursers, the steeds made radiant; they bore the never-cut ambrosia as they flowed, the immortal draught was revealed by the wind.

वरि॑ष्ठो अस्य॒ दक्षि॑णामिय॒र्तीन्द्रो॑ म॒घोनां॑ तुविकू॒र्मित॑मः । यया॑ वज्रिवः परि॒यास्यंहो॑ म॒घा च॑ धृष्णो॒ दय॑से॒ वि सू॒रीन्
variṣṭho asya dakṣiṇāmiyartīndro maghonāṃ tuvikūrmitamaḥ yayā vajrivaḥ pariyāsyaṃho maghā ca dhṛṣṇo dayase vi sūrīn
Chief among them on the right stood Indra, endowed with might like a tortoise of the great gifts. By which the wielders of thunder surrounded the spoil, the mighty hurled themselves at the suns.

इन्द्रो॒ वाज॑स्य॒ स्थवि॑रस्य दा॒तेन्द्रो॑ गी॒र्भिर्व॑र्धतां वृ॒द्धम॑हाः । इन्द्रो॑ वृ॒त्रं हनि॑ष्ठो अस्तु॒ सत्वा ता सू॒रिः पृ॑णति॒ तूतु॑जानः
indro vājasya sthavirasya dātendro gīrbhirvardhatāṃ vṛddhamahāḥ indro vṛtraṃ haniṣṭho astu satvā tā sūriḥ pṛṇati tūtujānaḥ
Indra, bestower of the mighty prize, may your vast fame increase; may Indra smite Vritra, let the brave ones fill the host with praise.
