पु॒रो वो॑ म॒न्द्रं दि॒व्यं सु॑वृ॒क्तिं प्र॑य॒ति य॒ज्ञे अ॒ग्निम॑ध्व॒रे द॑धिध्वम् । पु॒र उ॒क्थेभिः॒ स हि नो॑ वि॒भावा॑ स्वध्व॒रा क॑रति जा॒तवे॑दाः
puro vo mandraṃ divyaṃ suvṛktiṃ prayati yajñe agnimadhvare dadhidhvam pura ukthebhiḥ sa hi no vibhāvā svadhvarā karati jātavedāḥ
Before you he places the divine mandra and auspicious praise; set Agni at the sacred seat of the sacrifice. With the ancient hymns he indeed makes for us the path of prosperity—O Jatavedas.

तमु॑ द्युमः पुर्वणीक होत॒रग्ने॑ अ॒ग्निभि॒र्मनु॑ष इधा॒नः । स्तोमं॒ यम॑स्मै म॒मते॑व शू॒षं घृ॒तं न शुचि॑ म॒तयः॑ पवन्ते
tamu dyumaḥ purvaṇīka hotaragne agnibhirmanuṣa idhānaḥ stomaṃ yamasmai mamateva śūṣaṃ ghṛtaṃ na śuci matayaḥ pavante
Darkness, primeval light, oblation-bearer Agni, with fires the human kindles this fuel. I meditate this hymn upon him; the pure ghee is not impure — the thoughts flow.

पी॒पाय॒ स श्रव॑सा॒ मर्त्ये॑षु॒ यो अ॒ग्नये॑ द॒दाश॒ विप्र॑ उ॒क्थैः । चि॒त्राभि॒स्तमू॒तिभि॑श्चि॒त्रशो॑चिर्व्र॒जस्य॑ सा॒ता गोम॑तो दधाति
pīpāya sa śravasā martyeṣu yo agnaye dadāśa vipra ukthaiḥ citrābhistamūtibhiścitraśocirvrajasya sātā gomato dadhāti
He who gave Pīpāyana to mortals, to Agni the priest with sacred hymns; with manifold songs and wondrous sounds the adept applies praise, and the pious gives cattle and riches.

आ यः प॒प्रौ जाय॑मान उ॒र्वी दू॑रे॒दृशा॑ भा॒सा कृ॒ष्णाध्वा॑ । अध॑ ब॒हु चि॒त्तम॒ ऊर्म्या॑यास्ति॒रः शो॒चिषा॑ ददृशे पाव॒कः
ā yaḥ paprau jāyamāna urvī dūredṛśā bhāsā kṛṣṇādhvā adha bahu cittama ūrmyāyāstiraḥ śociṣā dadṛśe pāvakaḥ
He sprang forth when born, the mighty stream flows far with such sheen, black-tracked. Beneath are many thoughts; the burning one was seen sorrowful in his path.

नू न॑श्चि॒त्रं पु॑रु॒वाजा॑भिरू॒ती अग्ने॑ र॒यिं म॒घव॑द्भ्यश्च धेहि । ये राध॑सा॒ श्रव॑सा॒ चात्य॒न्यान्सु॒वीर्ये॑भिश्चा॒भि सन्ति॒ जना॑न्
nū naścitraṃ puruvājābhirūtī agne rayiṃ maghavadbhyaśca dhehi ye rādhasā śravasā cātyanyānsuvīryebhiścābhi santi janān
Now do grant, O Agni, the fame of ancient deeds and bestow wealth upon the generous. Those who are swift in praise and those valorous among men are united with us.
Rigveda 6.010.06

इ॒मं य॒ज्ञं चनो॑ धा अग्न उ॒शन्यं त॑ आसा॒नो जु॑हु॒ते ह॒विष्मा॑न् । भ॒रद्वा॑जेषु दधिषे सुवृ॒क्तिमवी॒र्वाज॑स्य॒ गध्य॑स्य सा॒तौ
imaṃ yajñaṃ cano dhā agna uśanyaṃ ta āsāno juhute haviṣmān bharadvājeṣu dadhiṣe suvṛktimavīrvājasya gadhyasya sātau
Agni, accept this sacrifice and the auspicious oblation; may the seated offerers present the well-spoken gift. In the houses of Bharadvāja place the excellence of the sacrificer, O Jatavedas.

वि द्वेषां॑सीनु॒हि व॒र्धयेळां॒ मदे॑म श॒तहि॑माः सु॒वीराः॑
vi dveṣāṃsīnuhi vardhayeḷāṃ madema śatahimāḥ suvīrāḥ
May you increase what is hateful to enemies; may we be a hundred-fold strong, heroic and mighty.
