Agni, accept this sacrifice and the auspicious oblation; may the seated offerers present the well-spoken gift. In the houses of Bharadvāja place the excellence of the sacrificer, O Jatavedas.

Agni desirous (of the offering), accept this sacrifice, this food which the presenter (of the oblation), sitting down (before you), offers unto you; accept the blameless (praises) of the bhāradvāja (race), and favour them that they may obtain many sorts of food.

Agni, accept this sacrifice with gladness, which, seated here, the worshipper presenteth. Fair hymns hadst thou among the Bharadvajas, and holpest them to gain abundant vigour.
