पी॒पाय॒ स श्रव॑सा॒ मर्त्ये॑षु॒ यो अ॒ग्नये॑ द॒दाश॒ विप्र॑ उ॒क्थैः । चि॒त्राभि॒स्तमू॒तिभि॑श्चि॒त्रशो॑चिर्व्र॒जस्य॑ सा॒ता गोम॑तो दधाति
pīpāya sa śravasā martyeṣu yo agnaye dadāśa vipra ukthaiḥ citrābhistamūtibhiścitraśocirvrajasya sātā gomato dadhāti
He who gave Pīpāyana to mortals, to Agni the priest with sacred hymns; with manifold songs and wondrous sounds the adept applies praise, and the pious gives cattle and riches.
He thrives in abundance among men, who, pious, presents to Agni (oblations) with prayers; the wonderfully radian Agni plural ces him with marvellous protection in the enjoyment of pasturage full of herds of cattle.
Mid mortal men that singer thrives in glory who offers gifts with hymns of praise to Agni, And the God, wondrous bright, with wondrous succours helps him to win a stable filled with cattle.
