tvāmagne haviṣmanto devaṃ martāsa īḷate manye tvā jātavedasaṃ sa havyā vakṣyānuṣak
O Agni, the sacrificers praise you with oblations and men invoke the god. I think you are the Knower of Births; that which is offered will be the appointed oblation.

Agni, priest and servant, the offering dwindles from decline of the performer’s energy. Those who follow the rites and whose wealth and fame attend them praise him.

He who rightly offers to her—smoke unites them. Even now when the threefold divine flame is enkindled, the mother like the blower breathes and the flame glows.

tavāhamagna ūtibhirmitrasya ca praśastibhiḥ dveṣoyuto na duritā turyāma martyānām
We glorify Agni with songs and Mitra with praises. Hatred is not hard for mortals; may it be turned aside between them.

O Agni, come bear this cattle-reward with us; let him cast forth, nourish the wealth of Bhuvadwaja, protect our herds, and increase us in the shelters.
