म॒हे नो॑ अ॒द्य बो॑ध॒योषो॑ रा॒ये दि॒वित्म॑ती । यथा॑ चिन्नो॒ अबो॑धयः स॒त्यश्र॑वसि वा॒य्ये सुजा॑ते॒ अश्व॑सूनृते
mahe no adya bodhayoṣo rāye divitmatī yathā cinno abodhayaḥ satyaśravasi vāyye sujāte aśvasūnṛte
May great wakefulness come to us today, O radiant one, like the rousing of the waters; as one rouses the unawakened, O truthful-hearing, O Vāyu-born, O noble steed-slayer.

yā sunīthe śaucadrathe vyauccho duhitardivaḥ sā vyuccha sahīyasi satyaśravasi vāyye sujāte aśvasūnṛte
She who cleanses in the right course, who came down from heaven as a daughter—she opens, O truthful-hearing, O Vāyu-born, O noble steed-slayer.

She has borne our heavenly riches today, the daughter who came down from heaven; she who opens the streams opens for us, O truthful-hearing, O Vāyu-born, O noble steed-slayer.

अ॒भि ये त्वा॑ विभावरि॒ स्तोमै॑र्गृ॒णन्ति॒ वह्न॑यः । म॒घैर्म॑घोनि सु॒श्रियो॒ दाम॑न्वन्तः सुरा॒तयः॒ सुजा॑ते॒ अश्व॑सूनृते
abhi ye tvā vibhāvari stomairgṛṇanti vahnayaḥ maghairmaghoni suśriyo dāmanvantaḥ surātayaḥ sujāte aśvasūnṛte
Those who, with offerings, invoke you with hymns and flames—mighty, sustaining, hearing—gods bearing gifts, attendants of the generous, O truthful-hearing, O Vāyu-born, O noble steed-slayer.

यच्चि॒द्धि ते॑ ग॒णा इ॒मे छ॒दय॑न्ति म॒घत्त॑ये । परि॑ चि॒द्वष्ट॑यो दधु॒र्दद॑तो॒ राधो॒ अह्र॑यं॒ सुजा॑ते॒ अश्व॑सूनृते
yacciddhi te gaṇā ime chadayanti maghattaye pari cidvaṣṭayo dadhurdadato rādho ahrayaṃ sujāte aśvasūnṛte
These hosts conceal for you strength for gifts; the eightfold seat bestows the bold share; O generous one, deserving, O truthful-hearing, O Vāyu-born, O noble steed-slayer.

ऐषु॑ धा वी॒रव॒द्यश॒ उषो॑ मघोनि सू॒रिषु॑ । ये नो॒ राधां॒स्यह्र॑या म॒घवा॑नो॒ अरा॑सत॒ सुजा॑ते॒ अश्व॑सूनृते
aiṣu dhā vīravadyaśa uṣo maghoni sūriṣu ye no rādhāṃsyahrayā maghavāno arāsata sujāte aśvasūnṛte
In these are heroic glories at morning among the generous ones, who drove our chariots at dawn; the mighty ones pressed forward, O truthful-hearing, O Vāyu-born, O noble steed-slayer.

तेभ्यो॑ द्यु॒म्नं बृ॒हद्यश॒ उषो॑ मघो॒न्या व॑ह । ये नो॒ राधां॒स्यश्व्या॑ ग॒व्या भज॑न्त सू॒रयः॒ सुजा॑ते॒ अश्व॑सूनृते
tebhyo dyumnaṃ bṛhadyaśa uṣo maghonyā vaha ye no rādhāṃsyaśvyā gavyā bhajanta sūrayaḥ sujāte aśvasūnṛte
From them the broad, resplendent heaven bears forth greatness; those who worship our bays and kine bring strength, O truthful-hearing, O Vāyu-born, O noble steed-slayer.

उ॒त नो॒ गोम॑ती॒रिष॒ आ व॑हा दुहितर्दिवः । सा॒कं सूर्य॑स्य र॒श्मिभिः॑ शु॒क्रैः शोच॑द्भिर॒र्चिभिः॒ सुजा॑ते॒ अश्व॑सूनृते
uta no gomatīriṣa ā vahā duhitardivaḥ sākaṃ sūryasya raśmibhiḥ śukraiḥ śocadbhirarcibhiḥ sujāte aśvasūnṛte
Bring to us the streams where the cows give milk, O daughter who came down from heaven; together with the sun’s rays, with bright offerings and hymns, O truthful-hearing, O Vāyu-born, O noble steed-slayer.

व्यु॑च्छा दुहितर्दिवो॒ मा चि॒रं त॑नुथा॒ अपः॑ । नेत्त्वा॑ स्ते॒नं यथा॑ रि॒पुं तपा॑ति॒ सूरो॑ अ॒र्चिषा॒ सुजा॑ते॒ अश्व॑सूनृते
vyucchā duhitardivo mā ciraṃ tanuthā apaḥ nettvā stenaṃ yathā ripuṃ tapāti sūro arciṣā sujāte aśvasūnṛte
Open, daughter who came down from heaven; do not let the waters be thin long. Having upheld the enemy as a foe, the sun burns with radiance, O truthful-hearing, O Vāyu-born, O noble steed-slayer.

ए॒ताव॒द्वेदु॑ष॒स्त्वं भूयो॑ वा॒ दातु॑मर्हसि । या स्तो॒तृभ्यो॑ विभावर्यु॒च्छन्ती॒ न प्र॒मीय॑से॒ सुजा॑ते॒ अश्व॑सूनृते
etāvadveduṣastvaṃ bhūyo vā dātumarhasi yā stotṛbhyo vibhāvaryucchantī na pramīyase sujāte aśvasūnṛte
Thus you knew and should again deserve to give: she who opens for the worshippers will not be withheld, O truthful-hearing, O Vāyu-born, O noble steed-slayer.
