ए॒ताव॒द्वेदु॑ष॒स्त्वं भूयो॑ वा॒ दातु॑मर्हसि । या स्तो॒तृभ्यो॑ विभावर्यु॒च्छन्ती॒ न प्र॒मीय॑से॒ सुजा॑ते॒ अश्व॑सूनृते
etāvadveduṣastvaṃ bhūyo vā dātumarhasi yā stotṛbhyo vibhāvaryucchantī na pramīyase sujāte aśvasūnṛte
Thus you knew and should again deserve to give: she who opens for the worshippers will not be withheld, O truthful-hearing, O Vāyu-born, O noble steed-slayer.
You, Uṣas, are able to give (us) whatever, indeed, (has been solicited), and much (that has not been asked for); for, radiant (divinity), who are dawning upon your adorers, you are never cruel (to them);bright-born goddess (who are) sincerely praised for (the gift of) horses.
So much, and more exceedingly, O Dawn, it suits thee to bestow, Thou Radiant One who ceasest not to shine for those who sing thy praise, highborn! delightful with thy steeds!
