प्र॒यु॒ञ्ज॒ती दि॒व ए॑ति ब्रुवा॒णा म॒ही मा॒ता दु॑हि॒तुर्बो॒धय॑न्ती । आ॒विवा॑सन्ती युव॒तिर्म॑नी॒षा पि॒तृभ्य॒ आ सद॑ने॒ जोहु॑वाना
prayuñjatī diva eti bruvāṇā mahī mātā duhiturbodhayantī āvivāsantī yuvatirmanīṣā pitṛbhya ā sadane johuvānā
She goes forth to the sky, speaking: 'Mother Earth, milk her—awaken her.' The maiden, thoughtful, dwells in the ancestral seat, offering to the fathers.

अ॒जि॒रास॒स्तद॑प॒ ईय॑माना आतस्थि॒वांसो॑ अ॒मृत॑स्य॒ नाभि॑म् । अ॒न॒न्तास॑ उ॒रवो॑ वि॒श्वतः॑ सीं॒ परि॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी य॑न्ति॒ पन्थाः॑
ajirāsastadapa īyamānā ātasthivāṃso amṛtasya nābhim anantāsa uravo viśvataḥ sīṃ pari dyāvāpṛthivī yanti panthāḥ
The swift-moving ones, having set this breath in the navel of immortality, placed their bodies; their countless breasts, full everywhere, encircle heaven and earth — such are the paths they take.

उ॒क्षा स॑मु॒द्रो अ॑रु॒षः सु॑प॒र्णः पूर्व॑स्य॒ योनिं॑ पि॒तुरा वि॑वेश । मध्ये॑ दि॒वो निहि॑तः॒ पृश्नि॒रश्मा॒ वि च॑क्रमे॒ रज॑सस्पा॒त्यन्तौ॑
ukṣā samudro aruṣaḥ suparṇaḥ pūrvasya yoniṃ piturā viveśa madhye divo nihitaḥ pṛśniraśmā vi cakrame rajasaspātyantau
The bird Uksa, a sea-born winged being, entered the primal birth of the Fathers. Midst the heavens its ray was set; the shining bolt traversed in the course of Rajas' light.

च॒त्वार॑ ईं बिभ्रति क्षेम॒यन्तो॒ दश॒ गर्भं॑ च॒रसे॑ धापयन्ते । त्रि॒धात॑वः पर॒मा अ॑स्य॒ गावो॑ दि॒वश्च॑रन्ति॒ परि॑ स॒द्यो अन्ता॑न्
catvāra īṃ bibhrati kṣemayanto daśa garbhaṃ carase dhāpayante tridhātavaḥ paramā asya gāvo divaścaranti pari sadyo antān
Four carry the life-bearing ones safely, they nourish ten wombs and feed the young. Three-fold givers, the supreme cows roam the sky; around them the ends press near at once.

इ॒दं वपु॑र्नि॒वच॑नं जनास॒श्चर॑न्ति॒ यन्न॒द्य॑स्त॒स्थुरापः॑ । द्वे यदीं॑ बिभृ॒तो मा॒तुर॒न्ये इ॒हेह॑ जा॒ते य॒म्या॒३॒॑ सब॑न्धू
idaṃ vapurnivacanaṃ janāsaścaranti yannadyastasthurāpaḥ dve yadīṃ bibhṛto māturanye iheha jāte yamyā3 sabandhū
This body, fashioned anew, the people move about — that which even now the waters have made firm. Two bear one, the others another: thus are born associated kinships.

वि त॑न्वते॒ धियो॑ अस्मा॒ अपां॑सि॒ वस्त्रा॑ पु॒त्राय॑ मा॒तरो॑ वयन्ति । उ॒प॒प्र॒क्षे वृष॑णो॒ मोद॑माना दि॒वस्प॒था व॒ध्वो॑ य॒न्त्यच्छ॑
vi tanvate dhiyo asmā apāṃsi vastrā putrāya mātaro vayanti upaprakṣe vṛṣaṇo modamānā divaspathā vadhvo yantyaccha
May our thoughts be made vigorous; mothers weave garments of waters for the son. Seeking favor, rejoicing bulls hasten the divine paths and go to slaughter.

तद॑स्तु मित्रावरुणा॒ तद॑ग्ने॒ शं योर॒स्मभ्य॑मि॒दम॑स्तु श॒स्तम् । अ॒शी॒महि॑ गा॒धमु॒त प्र॑ति॒ष्ठां नमो॑ दि॒वे बृ॑ह॒ते साद॑नाय
tadastu mitrāvaruṇā tadagne śaṃ yorasmabhyamidamastu śastam aśīmahi gādhamuta pratiṣṭhāṃ namo dive bṛhate sādanāya
May Mitra and Varuṇa and Agni grant this good governance to us; may the weapon be for our strength. We invoke the vigorous one, Gādhamut, homage at the great shining seat for establishment.
