इ॒होप॑ यात शवसो नपातः॒ सौध॑न्वना ऋभवो॒ माप॑ भूत । अ॒स्मिन्हि वः॒ सव॑ने रत्न॒धेयं॒ गम॒न्त्विन्द्र॒मनु॑ वो॒ मदा॑सः
ihopa yāta śavaso napātaḥ saudhanvanā ṛbhavo māpa bhūta asminhi vaḥ savane ratnadheyaṃ gamantvindramanu vo madāsaḥ
Come here to the revenant‑rite, ye waters; let the jewel-offering proceed in our sacrifice; go forth, O Indra, with our draughts and our exhilarations.

आग॑न्नृभू॒णामि॒ह र॑त्न॒धेय॒मभू॒त्सोम॑स्य॒ सुषु॑तस्य पी॒तिः । सु॒कृ॒त्यया॒ यत्स्व॑प॒स्यया॑ च॒ँ एकं॑ विच॒क्र च॑म॒सं च॑तु॒र्धा
āgannṛbhūṇāmiha ratnadheyamabhūtsomasya suṣutasya pītiḥ sukṛtyayā yatsvapasyayā cam̐ ekaṃ vicakra camasaṃ caturdhā
I have brought forth here the jewel-offering of the revived ones—Soma’s draught, pressed and sweet. By auspicious deed he portioned the one and stirred the fourfold flesh of the slayer.

व्य॑कृणोत चम॒सं च॑तु॒र्धा सखे॒ वि शि॒क्षेत्य॑ब्रवीत । अथै॑त वाजा अ॒मृत॑स्य॒ पन्थां॑ ग॒णं दे॒वाना॑मृभवः सुहस्ताः
vyakṛṇota camasaṃ caturdhā sakhe vi śikṣetyabravīta athaita vājā amṛtasya panthāṃ gaṇaṃ devānāmṛbhavaḥ suhastāḥ
He divided the flesh into four, O friend, and said: 'Thus shall he be trained.' Then the artisans, skilled-handed, set the immortal path of the gods, the company of the gods, as guides.

कि॒म्मयः॑ स्विच्चम॒स ए॒ष आ॑स॒ यं काव्ये॑न च॒तुरो॑ विच॒क्र । अथा॑ सुनुध्वं॒ सव॑नं॒ मदा॑य पा॒त ऋ॑भवो॒ मधु॑नः सो॒म्यस्य॑
kimmayaḥ sviccamasa eṣa āsa yaṃ kāvyena caturo vicakra athā sunudhvaṃ savanaṃ madāya pāta ṛbhavo madhunaḥ somyasya
What meat is this that the poets essayed, which the four skillful ones portioned? Then sound the call to the sacrifice, O joyous ones; let the artisans pour the sweet soma.

शच्या॑कर्त पि॒तरा॒ युवा॑ना॒ शच्या॑कर्त चम॒सं दे॑व॒पान॑म् । शच्या॒ हरी॒ धनु॑तरावतष्टेन्द्र॒वाहा॑वृभवो वाजरत्नाः
śacyākarta pitarā yuvānā śacyākarta camasaṃ devapānam śacyā harī dhanutarāvataṣṭendravāhāvṛbhavo vājaratnāḥ
The fathers made the youthful meat; the fathers made the meat for the deity-drink. The wealthy, swift-armed, bow-bearing Tvastar, harnesser, the jewel-born artisans brought Vāja’s jewels.

यो वः॑ सु॒नोत्य॑भिपि॒त्वे अह्नां॑ ती॒व्रं वा॑जासः॒ सव॑नं॒ मदा॑य । तस्मै॑ र॒यिमृ॑भवः॒ सर्व॑वीर॒मा त॑क्षत वृषणो मन्दसा॒नाः
yo vaḥ sunotyabhipitve ahnāṃ tīvraṃ vājāsaḥ savanaṃ madāya tasmai rayimṛbhavaḥ sarvavīramā takṣata vṛṣaṇo mandasānāḥ
Whoever deigns to bring swift draughts for the day of might, may the artisans fashion him all-gifted; they fashioned him skilled and abundant, the strong-formed ones.

प्रा॒तः सु॒तम॑पिबो हर्यश्व॒ माध्यं॑दिनं॒ सव॑नं॒ केव॑लं ते । समृ॒भुभिः॑ पिबस्व रत्न॒धेभिः॒ सखी॒ँर्याँ इ॑न्द्र चकृ॒षे सु॑कृ॒त्या
prātaḥ sutamapibo haryaśva mādhyaṃdinaṃ savanaṃ kevalaṃ te samṛbhubhiḥ pibasva ratnadhebhiḥ sakhīm̐ryām̐ indra cakṛṣe sukṛtyā
At dawn drink, O beloved cows, the milky Soma of the favored days, alone for you. With foaming streams, drink from the jeweled vessels, O friends; Indra made it by good deeds.

ये दे॒वासो॒ अभ॑वता सुकृ॒त्या श्ये॒ना इ॒वेदधि॑ दि॒वि नि॑षे॒द । ते रत्नं॑ धात शवसो नपातः॒ सौध॑न्वना॒ अभ॑वता॒मृता॑सः
ye devāso abhavatā sukṛtyā śyenā ivedadhi divi niṣeda te ratnaṃ dhāta śavaso napātaḥ saudhanvanā abhavatāmṛtāsaḥ
The gods arose by the good deed; like a falcon they settled on high in the sky. They fashioned the jeweled offering, wealth of the sacrificial place; from it sprang immortals and abundant life.

यत्तृ॒तीयं॒ सव॑नं रत्न॒धेय॒मकृ॑णुध्वं स्वप॒स्या सु॑हस्ताः । तदृ॑भवः॒ परि॑षिक्तं व ए॒तत्सं मदे॑भिरिन्द्रि॒येभिः॑ पिबध्वम्
yattṛtīyaṃ savanaṃ ratnadheyamakṛṇudhvaṃ svapasyā suhastāḥ tadṛbhavaḥ pariṣiktaṃ va etatsaṃ madebhirindriyebhiḥ pibadhvam
When you make the third libation of the jewel-offering, O splendid-handed ones, look upon your own friends. Let that which was purified become near; with these eloquent ones and with senses, partake.
