अग्ने॒ तम॒द्याश्वं॒ न स्तोमैः॒ क्रतुं॒ न भ॒द्रं हृ॑दि॒स्पृश॑म् । ऋ॒ध्यामा॑ त॒ ओहैः॑
agne tamadyāśvaṃ na stomaiḥ kratuṃ na bhadraṃ hṛdispṛśam ṛdhyāmā ta ohaiḥ
Agni, today take the horse for the rite; do not touch the auspicious in the heart with offerings unfit. I will stir it up with libations.

अधा॒ ह्य॑ग्ने॒ क्रतो॑र्भ॒द्रस्य॒ दक्ष॑स्य सा॒धोः । र॒थीरृ॒तस्य॑ बृह॒तो ब॒भूथ॑
adhā hyagne kratorbhadrasya dakṣasya sādhoḥ rathīrṛtasya bṛhato babhūtha
Below, Agni, is the magnificent power of the firm, the wise one's strength. The chariot of the untrue became great.

ए॒भिर्नो॑ अ॒र्कैर्भवा॑ नो अ॒र्वाङ्स्व१॒॑र्ण ज्योतिः॑ । अग्ने॒ विश्वे॑भिः सु॒मना॒ अनी॑कैः
ebhirno arkairbhavā no arvāṅsva1rṇa jyotiḥ agne viśvebhiḥ sumanā anīkaiḥ
May these suns be for us, may those bright rays be for us — O Agni, by all-minded, countless ones.

आ॒भिष्टे॑ अ॒द्य गी॒र्भिर्गृ॒णन्तोऽग्ने॒ दाशे॑म । प्र ते॑ दि॒वो न स्त॑नयन्ति॒ शुष्माः॑
ābhiṣṭe adya gīrbhirgṛṇanto'gne dāśema pra te divo na stanayanti śuṣmāḥ
Today, Agni, having invoked the desired songs, may they bring us riches; may the subtle ones not withhold the gifts of heaven from you.

तव॒ स्वादि॒ष्ठाग्ने॒ संदृ॑ष्टिरि॒दा चि॒दह्न॑ इ॒दा चि॑द॒क्तोः । श्रि॒ये रु॒क्मो न रो॑चत उपा॒के
tava svādiṣṭhāgne saṃdṛṣṭiridā cidahna idā cidaktoḥ śriye rukmo na rocata upāke
O Agni, your own observed brightness and this radiant splendour of the invoked and invoking: the golden glory does not please the barren offerings.

घृ॒तं न पू॒तं त॒नूर॑रे॒पाः शुचि॒ हिर॑ण्यम् । तत्ते॑ रु॒क्मो न रो॑चत स्वधावः
ghṛtaṃ na pūtaṃ tanūrarepāḥ śuci hiraṇyam tatte rukmo na rocata svadhāvaḥ
Ghee purified, body made clean, and the bright gold — that golden glory does not please the libation (svadhā).

कृ॒तं चि॒द्धि ष्मा॒ सने॑मि॒ द्वेषोऽग्न॑ इ॒नोषि॒ मर्ता॑त् । इ॒त्था यज॑मानादृतावः
kṛtaṃ ciddhi ṣmā sanemi dveṣo'gna inoṣi martāt itthā yajamānādṛtāvaḥ
I have done what was fixed, I sought peace; Agni, be not hostile to mortals. Thus have the worshippers called (you) who are protected.
Rigveda 4.010.08
Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 4, Sukta 10 · Verse 4.10.8
शि॒वा नः॑ स॒ख्या सन्तु॑ भ्रा॒त्राग्ने॑ दे॒वेषु॑ यु॒ष्मे । सा नो॒ नाभिः॒ सद॑ने॒ सस्मि॒न्नूध॑न्
śivā naḥ sakhyā santu bhrātrāgne deveṣu yuṣme sā no nābhiḥ sadane sasminnūdhan
May friendship be auspicious for us, O Agni, may brothers be among the gods for you; may she be for us at the navel of the household, present here.
