पि॒प्री॒हि दे॒वाँ उ॑श॒तो य॑विष्ठ वि॒द्वाँ ऋ॒तूँरृ॑तुपते यजे॒ह । ये दैव्या॑ ऋ॒त्विज॒स्तेभि॑रग्ने॒ त्वं होतॄ॑णाम॒स्याय॑जिष्ठः
piprīhi devām̐ uśato yaviṣṭha vidvām̐ ṛtūm̐rṛtupate yajeha ye daivyā ṛtvijastebhiragne tvaṃ hotṝṇāmasyāyajiṣṭhaḥ
Increase, O auspicious one, the gods at dawn; the wise, guard the rites and invoke them. O Agni, among these divine priests you are the most honoured by the sacrificers.

वेषि॑ हो॒त्रमु॒त पो॒त्रं जना॑नां मन्धा॒तासि॑ द्रविणो॒दा ऋ॒तावा॑ । स्वाहा॑ व॒यं कृ॒णवा॑मा ह॒वींषि॑ दे॒वो दे॒वान्य॑जत्व॒ग्निरर्ह॑न्
veṣi hotramuta potraṃ janānāṃ mandhātāsi draviṇodā ṛtāvā svāhā vayaṃ kṛṇavāmā havīṃṣi devo devānyajatvagnirarhan
Adorn the priest and send the heir of men among the people; you pour wealth as the giver of seasons. We offer svāhā: do for us the oblation, O god; the gods have worshipped the gods with worthy fire.

आ दे॒वाना॒मपि॒ पन्था॑मगन्म॒ यच्छ॒क्नवा॑म॒ तदनु॒ प्रवो॑ळ्हुम् । अ॒ग्निर्वि॒द्वान्स य॑जा॒त्सेदु॒ होता॒ सो अ॑ध्व॒रान्स ऋ॒तून्क॑ल्पयाति
ā devānāmapi panthāmaganma yacchaknavāma tadanu pravoḷhum agnirvidvānsa yajātsedu hotā so adhvarānsa ṛtūnkalpayāti
Go on the paths of the gods that we may follow; we shall proceed after. Agni, learned, when the sacrificer is born you bring the courses and establish the rites.
Rigveda 10.002.04

यद्वो॑ व॒यं प्र॑मि॒नाम॑ व्र॒तानि॑ वि॒दुषां॑ देवा॒ अवि॑दुष्टरासः । अ॒ग्निष्टद्विश्व॒मा पृ॑णाति वि॒द्वान्येभि॑र्दे॒वाँ ऋ॒तुभिः॑ क॒ल्पया॑ति
yadvo vayaṃ pramināma vratāni viduṣāṃ devā aviduṣṭarāsaḥ agniṣṭadviśvamā pṛṇāti vidvānyebhirdevām̐ ṛtubhiḥ kalpayāti
As for what we set as measures and ordinances of the wise, the gods do not ignore them. Agni, the wise fulfils and arranges the gods' provisions by the ordinances of the seasons.
Rigveda 10.002.05

यत्पा॑क॒त्रा मन॑सा दी॒नद॑क्षा॒ न य॒ज्ञस्य॑ मन्व॒ते मर्त्या॑सः । अ॒ग्निष्टद्धोता॑ क्रतु॒विद्वि॑जा॒नन्यजि॑ष्ठो दे॒वाँ ऋ॑तु॒शो य॑जाति
yatpākatrā manasā dīnadakṣā na yajñasya manvate martyāsaḥ agniṣṭaddhotā kratuvidvijānanyajiṣṭho devām̐ ṛtuśo yajāti
Whatever vessels are fit by mind and skill, mortal men take them for the sacrifice. Agni, prescribed for offering, knower of the rite, best of worshippers, you bring the gods to the seasons for the sacrifice.
Rigveda 10.002.06
Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 10, Sukta 2 · Verse 10.2.6
विश्वे॑षां॒ ह्य॑ध्व॒राणा॒मनी॑कं चि॒त्रं के॒तुं जनि॑ता त्वा ज॒जान॑ । स आ य॑जस्व नृ॒वती॒रनु॒ क्षाः स्पा॒र्हा इषः॑ क्षु॒मती॑र्वि॒श्वज॑न्याः
viśveṣāṃ hyadhvarāṇāmanīkaṃ citraṃ ketuṃ janitā tvā jajāna sa ā yajasva nṛvatīranu kṣāḥ spārhā iṣaḥ kṣumatīrviśvajanyāḥ
You, who were born as the banner of all the priests and dazzling standard, we knew you. Prosper, O sacrificer; bring near the folk, the desire and strength of all peoples.

यं त्वा॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी यं त्वाप॒स्त्वष्टा॒ यं त्वा॑ सु॒जनि॑मा ज॒जान॑ । पन्था॒मनु॑ प्रवि॒द्वान्पि॑तृ॒याणं॑ द्यु॒मद॑ग्ने समिधा॒नो वि भा॑हि
yaṃ tvā dyāvāpṛthivī yaṃ tvāpastvaṣṭā yaṃ tvā sujanimā jajāna panthāmanu pravidvānpitṛyāṇaṃ dyumadagne samidhāno vi bhāhi
Whomsoever of heaven and earth, whomsoever of waters, whomsoever of the well‑born we knew — the paths having been traversed, we acknowledged the fathers, Agni, and cast the fuel forth.
