न तमंहो॒ न दु॑रि॒तं देवा॑सो अष्ट॒ मर्त्य॑म् । स॒जोष॑सो॒ यम॑र्य॒मा मि॒त्रो नय॑न्ति॒ वरु॑णो॒ अति॒ द्विषः॑
na tamaṃho na duritaṃ devāso aṣṭa martyam sajoṣaso yamaryamā mitro nayanti varuṇo ati dviṣaḥ
Not hostile to us are the gods in their eight mortal guises. Mitra and Aryaman bring us together in joyous companionship; Varuṇa hates not the overstepping.

तद्धि व॒यं वृ॑णी॒महे॒ वरु॑ण॒ मित्रार्य॑मन् । येना॒ निरंह॑सो यू॒यं पा॒थ ने॒था च॒ मर्त्य॒मति॒ द्विषः॑
taddhi vayaṃ vṛṇīmahe varuṇa mitrāryaman yenā niraṃhaso yūyaṃ pātha nethā ca martyamati dviṣaḥ
Therefore we choose Varuṇa, Mitra, Aryaman—by whom you, leaderless, traverse the path unharmed. You go on, O mortals, without enmity.

ते नू॒नं नो॒ऽयमू॒तये॒ वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॑र्य॒मा । नयि॑ष्ठा उ नो ने॒षणि॒ पर्षि॑ष्ठा उ नः प॒र्षण्यति॒ द्विषः॑
te nūnaṃ no'yamūtaye varuṇo mitro aryamā nayiṣṭhā u no neṣaṇi parṣiṣṭhā u naḥ parṣaṇyati dviṣaḥ
Truly Varuṇa, Mitra, Aryaman lead us onward. May their guidance not abandon our limbs, may their protection not fail us, O enemies.

यू॒यं विश्वं॒ परि॑ पाथ॒ वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॑र्य॒मा । यु॒ष्माकं॒ शर्म॑णि प्रि॒ये स्याम॑ सुप्रणीत॒योऽति॒ द्विषः॑
yūyaṃ viśvaṃ pari pātha varuṇo mitro aryamā yuṣmākaṃ śarmaṇi priye syāma supraṇītayo'ti dviṣaḥ
You surround the whole world, Varuṇa, Mitra, Aryaman. May we be in your protection, beloved and well guided; may you be exceedingly favorable.

आ॒दि॒त्यासो॒ अति॒ स्रिधो॒ वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॑र्य॒मा । उ॒ग्रं म॒रुद्भी॑ रु॒द्रं हु॑वे॒मेन्द्र॑म॒ग्निं स्व॒स्तयेऽति॒ द्विषः॑
ādityāso ati sridho varuṇo mitro aryamā ugraṃ marudbhī rudraṃ huvemendramagniṃ svastaye'ti dviṣaḥ
The Ādityas are abundant in wealth; Varuṇa, Mitra, Aryaman. I call upon the mighty Maruts, the terrible Rudra, Indra and Agni for well-being—be exceedingly favorable.

नेता॑र ऊ॒ षु ण॑स्ति॒रो वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॑र्य॒मा । अति॒ विश्वा॑नि दुरि॒ता राजा॑नश्चर्षणी॒नामति॒ द्विषः॑
netāra ū ṣu ṇastiro varuṇo mitro aryamā ati viśvāni duritā rājānaścarṣaṇīnāmati dviṣaḥ
There are leaders of excellent fame—Varuṇa, Mitra, Aryaman. All hostile deeds are restrained, kings and the violent are subdued—be exceedingly favorable.

शु॒नम॒स्मभ्य॑मू॒तये॒ वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॑र्य॒मा । शर्म॑ यच्छन्तु स॒प्रथ॑ आदि॒त्यासो॒ यदीम॑हे॒ अति॒ द्विषः॑
śunamasmabhyamūtaye varuṇo mitro aryamā śarma yacchantu sapratha ādityāso yadīmahe ati dviṣaḥ
Hear us as friends, Varuṇa, Mitra, Aryaman. Grant to us the shelter of glory; if we honor the Ādityas first, be very favorable.

यथा॑ ह॒ त्यद्व॑सवो गौ॒र्यं॑ चित्प॒दि षि॒ताममु॑ञ्चता यजत्राः । ए॒वो ष्व१॒॑स्मन्मु॑ञ्चता॒ व्यंहः॒ प्र ता॑र्यग्ने प्रत॒रं न॒ आयुः॑
yathā ha tyadvasavo gauryaṃ citpadi ṣitāmamuñcatā yajatrāḥ evo ṣva1smanmuñcatā vyaṃhaḥ pra tāryagne prataraṃ na āyuḥ
As the Vasus released the bright kine with measured steps, the worshippers let them go; so may we release our life each morning before Agni, may life not depart prematurely.
