अग्नी॑षोमावि॒मं सु मे॑ शृणु॒तं वृ॑षणा॒ हव॑म् । प्रति॑ सू॒क्तानि॑ हर्यतं॒ भव॑तं दा॒शुषे॒ मयः॑
agnīṣomāvimaṃ su me śaṛṇutaṃ vṛṣaṇā havam prati sūktāni haryataṃ bhavataṃ dāśuṣe mayaḥ
Hear, Agni and Soma, this our mighty invocation and the milk-offering: let the hymns be given, let your gifts be for my worship.

अग्नी॑षोमा॒ यो अ॒द्य वा॑मि॒दं वचः॑ सप॒र्यति॑ । तस्मै॑ धत्तं सु॒वीर्यं॒ गवां॒ पोषं॒ स्वश्व्य॑म्
agnīṣomā yo adya vāmidaṃ vacaḥ saparyati tasmai dhattaṃ suvīryaṃ gavāṃ poṣaṃ svaśvyam
Agni and Soma, he who this day bears forth this speech and establishes offerings—grant him heroic might, nourishment of cows and strength of horses.

अग्नी॑षोमा॒ य आहु॑तिं॒ यो वां॒ दाशा॑द्ध॒विष्कृ॑तिम् । स प्र॒जया॑ सु॒वीर्यं॒ विश्व॒मायु॒र्व्य॑श्नवत्
agnīṣomā ya āhutiṃ yo vāṃ dāśāddhaviṣkṛtim sa prajayā suvīryaṃ viśvamāyurvyaśnavat
Agni and Soma, he who invoked the offering, who made the gifts and the oblations—may he obtain heroic strength, progeny, long life and prosperity.

अग्नी॑षोमा॒ चेति॒ तद्वी॒र्यं॑ वां॒ यदमु॑ष्णीतमव॒सं प॒णिं गाः । अवा॑तिरतं॒ बृस॑यस्य॒ शेषोऽवि॑न्दतं॒ ज्योति॒रेकं॑ ब॒हुभ्यः॑
agnīṣomā ceti tadvīryaṃ vāṃ yadamuṣṇītamavasaṃ paṇiṃ gāḥ avātirataṃ bṛsayasya śeṣo'vindataṃ jyotirekaṃ bahubhyaḥ
They called him Agni and Soma — that strength of yours which warmed you, the dwelling-place of cows. Descending, he found the remnant of Bṛsaya, one light alone separate from many.

यु॒वमे॒तानि॑ दि॒वि रो॑च॒नान्य॒ग्निश्च॑ सोम॒ सक्र॑तू अधत्तम् । यु॒वं सिन्धू॑ँर॒भिश॑स्तेरव॒द्यादग्नी॑षोमा॒वमु॑ञ्चतं गृभी॒तान्
yuvametāni divi rocanānyagniśca soma sakratū adhattam yuvaṃ sindhūm̐rabhiśasteravadyādagnīṣomāvamuñcataṃ gṛbhītān
You two placed these bright things in the sky — Agni and Soma, the powerful, were set. You yoked them to the streams and let Agni-Soma release the gathered offerings held in the hands.

आन्यं दि॒वो मा॑त॒रिश्वा॑ जभा॒राम॑थ्नाद॒न्यं परि॑ श्ये॒नो अद्रेः॑ । अग्नी॑षोमा॒ ब्रह्म॑णा वावृधा॒नोरुं य॒ज्ञाय॑ चक्रथुरु लो॒कम्
ānyaṃ divo mātariśvā jabhārāmathnādanyaṃ pari śyeno adreḥ agnīṣomā brahmaṇā vāvṛdhānoruṃ yajñāya cakrathuru lokam
Bring another from the sky, Mother of horses, let the bridle be yoked; another around like the hawk from the mountains. Agni-Soma, with the sacred power, made the world move for the sacrifice by their might.

अग्नी॑षोमा ह॒विषः॒ प्रस्थि॑तस्य वी॒तं हर्य॑तं वृषणा जु॒षेथा॑म् । सु॒शर्मा॑णा॒ स्वव॑सा॒ हि भू॒तमथा॑ धत्तं॒ यज॑मानाय॒ शं योः
agnīṣomā haviṣaḥ prasthitasya vītaṃ haryataṃ vṛṣaṇā juṣethām suśarmāṇā svavasā hi bhūtamathā dhattaṃ yajamānāya śaṃ yoḥ
Agni-Soma, the oblation sent forth, the brave one moving, may he carry away the wealth of bulls and possess us. Rightly established, he gave what existed as offerings to the sacrificer, a boon of welfare to both.

यो अ॒ग्नीषोमा॑ ह॒विषा॑ सप॒र्याद्दे॑व॒द्रीचा॒ मन॑सा॒ यो घृ॒तेन॑ । तस्य॑ व्र॒तं र॑क्षतं पा॒तमंह॑सो वि॒शे जना॑य॒ महि॒ शर्म॑ यच्छतम्
yo agnīṣomā haviṣā saparyāddevadrīcā manasā yo ghṛtena tasya vrataṃ rakṣataṃ pātamaṃhaso viśe janāya mahi śarma yacchatam
Whoever pours Agni-Soma with oblations, with the mind like a god, or with clarified butter — his vow is protected, the worship preserved; may the mighty protection and glory descend for the people.

अग्नी॑षोमा॒ सवे॑दसा॒ सहू॑ती वनतं॒ गिरः॑ । सं दे॑व॒त्रा ब॑भूवथुः
agnīṣomā savedasā sahūtī vanataṃ giraḥ saṃ devatrā babhūvathuḥ
Agni-Soma, bearing offerings, moved with the sacred chant into the forest and the word. Thus they became the twofold gods.

अग्नी॑षोमाव॒नेन॑ वां॒ यो वां॑ घृ॒तेन॒ दाश॑ति । तस्मै॑ दीदयतं बृ॒हत्
agnīṣomāvanena vāṃ yo vāṃ ghṛtena dāśati tasmai dīdayataṃ bṛhat
Agni-Soma, by this rite, he who gives you oblation with ghee — to him he bestowed greatness.

agnīṣomāvimāni no yuvaṃ havyā jujoṣatam ā yātamupa naḥ sacā
Agni-Soma, your aerial forms, may you, worthy of worship, be called to our offerings; come hither with your companions to us.

अग्नी॑षोमा पिपृ॒तमर्व॑तो न॒ आ प्या॑यन्तामु॒स्रिया॑ हव्य॒सूदः॑ । अ॒स्मे बला॑नि म॒घव॑त्सु धत्तं कृणु॒तं नो॑ अध्व॒रं श्रु॑ष्टि॒मन्त॑म्
agnīṣomā pipṛtamarvato na ā pyāyantāmusriyā havyasūdaḥ asme balāni maghavatsu dhattaṃ kṛṇutaṃ no adhvaraṃ śruṣṭimantam
May Agni-Soma, husband of the chant, not let the streams run away; O lord of oblation, grant us strength and place wealth in our possessors; accomplish for us the straightened path and grant us renowned fame.
