आ नो॑ भ॒द्राः क्रत॑वो यन्तु वि॒श्वतोऽद॑ब्धासो॒ अप॑रीतास उ॒द्भिदः॑ । दे॒वा नो॒ यथा॒ सद॒मिद्वृ॒धे अस॒न्नप्रा॑युवो रक्षि॒तारो॑ दि॒वेदि॑वे
ā no bhadrāḥ kratavo yantu viśvato'dabdhāso aparītāsa udbhidaḥ devā no yathā sadamidvṛdhe asannaprāyuvo rakṣitāro divedive
May auspicious powers come to us from every side, unbound, abundant, sprouting from the depths. May the gods, as protectors, guard us day by day like a firm shelter.

दे॒वानां॑ भ॒द्रा सु॑म॒तिरृ॑जूय॒तां दे॒वानां॑ रा॒तिर॒भि नो॒ नि व॑र्तताम् । दे॒वानां॑ स॒ख्यमुप॑ सेदिमा व॒यं दे॒वा न॒ आयुः॒ प्र ति॑रन्तु जी॒वसे॑
devānāṃ bhadrā sumatirṛjūyatāṃ devānāṃ rātirabhi no ni vartatām devānāṃ sakhyamupa sedimā vayaṃ devā na āyuḥ pra tirantu jīvase
May the gods have auspicious counsel and upright counsel; may the night of the gods turn toward us. May we, seated in friendship with the gods, live long and they prolong our lives.

तान्पूर्व॑या नि॒विदा॑ हूमहे व॒यं भगं॑ मि॒त्रमदि॑तिं॒ दक्ष॑म॒स्रिध॑म् । अ॒र्य॒मणं॒ वरु॑णं॒ सोम॑म॒श्विना॒ सर॑स्वती नः सु॒भगा॒ मय॑स्करत्
tānpūrvayā nividā hūmahe vayaṃ bhagaṃ mitramaditiṃ dakṣamasridham aryamaṇaṃ varuṇaṃ somamaśvinā sarasvatī naḥ subhagā mayaskarat
With that ancient vow we invoke the blessing: may Mitra, Varuna, Soma, the Ashvins and Sarasvati, bestowers of good, make us fortunate and active.

तन्नो॒ वातो॑ मयो॒भु वा॑तु भेष॒जं तन्मा॒ता पृ॑थि॒वी तत्पि॒ता द्यौः । तद्ग्रावा॑णः सोम॒सुतो॑ मयो॒भुव॒स्तद॑श्विना शृणुतं धिष्ण्या यु॒वम्
tanno vāto mayobhu vātu bheṣajaṃ tanmātā pṛthivī tatpitā dyauḥ tadgrāvāṇaḥ somasuto mayobhuvastadaśvinā śaṛṇutaṃ dhiṣṇyā yuvam
May that Vāta (Wind) be for us a life-bestower, may that Mayobhū be a healing; may that be our mother, the Earth, and that be our father, the Sky. May that Graha, the son of Soma, be Mayobhū; may those Ashvins hear and, O wise ones, protect you.

तमीशा॑नं॒ जग॑तस्त॒स्थुष॒स्पतिं॑ धियंजि॒न्वमव॑से हूमहे व॒यम् । पू॒षा नो॒ यथा॒ वेद॑सा॒मस॑द्वृ॒धे र॑क्षि॒ता पा॒युरद॑ब्धः स्व॒स्तये॑
tamīśānaṃ jagatastasthuṣaspatiṃ dhiyaṃjinvamavase hūmahe vayam pūṣā no yathā vedasāmasadvṛdhe rakṣitā pāyuradabdhaḥ svastaye
We invoke the sovereign of the world, the Lord of breath — may he, placing intelligence within us, be present; we invoke Pūṣā as one who knows the threefold law: protect the growth of our soma, the guardian who brings prosperity for welfare.

स्व॒स्ति न॒ इन्द्रो॑ वृ॒द्धश्र॑वाः स्व॒स्ति नः॑ पू॒षा वि॒श्ववे॑दाः । स्व॒स्ति न॒स्तार्क्ष्यो॒ अरि॑ष्टनेमिः स्व॒स्ति नो॒ बृह॒स्पति॑र्दधातु
svasti na indro vṛddhaśravāḥ svasti naḥ pūṣā viśvavedāḥ svasti nastārkṣyo ariṣṭanemiḥ svasti no bṛhaspatirdadhātu
May Indra of great fame be auspicious; may Pūṣā, knower of all, be auspicious for us. May Tārkṣya, slayer of foes, be auspicious; may Bṛhaspati grant us auspiciousness.

पृष॑दश्वा म॒रुतः॒ पृश्नि॑मातरः शुभं॒यावा॑नो वि॒दथे॑षु॒ जग्म॑यः । अ॒ग्नि॒जि॒ह्वा मन॑वः॒ सूर॑चक्षसो॒ विश्वे॑ नो दे॒वा अव॒सा ग॑मन्नि॒ह
pṛṣadaśvā marutaḥ pṛśnimātaraḥ śubhaṃyāvāno vidatheṣu jagmayaḥ agnijihvā manavaḥ sūracakṣaso viśve no devā avasā gamanniha
The Maruts, strong-horsed, with pounding might, moved with mighty force; Agni the tongue among men, the seer-eyed, may all the gods come to our dwelling-places here.

भ॒द्रं कर्णे॑भिः शृणुयाम देवा भ॒द्रं प॑श्येमा॒क्षभि॑र्यजत्राः । स्थि॒रैरङ्गै॑स्तुष्टु॒वांस॑स्त॒नूभि॒र्व्य॑शेम दे॒वहि॑तं॒ यदायुः॑
bhadraṃ karṇebhiḥ śaṛṇuyāma devā bhadraṃ paśyemākṣabhiryajatrāḥ sthirairaṅgaistuṣṭuvāṃsastanūbhirvyaśema devahitaṃ yadāyuḥ
Hear auspicious things with your ears, O gods; may we behold auspiciousness with our eyes, worshippers. May you, with steady limbs, grant strength to our bodies; may the god-loved portion of life be ours.

श॒तमिन्नु श॒रदो॒ अन्ति॑ देवा॒ यत्रा॑ नश्च॒क्रा ज॒रसं॑ त॒नूना॑म् । पु॒त्रासो॒ यत्र॑ पि॒तरो॒ भव॑न्ति॒ मा नो॑ म॒ध्या री॑रिष॒तायु॒र्गन्तोः॑
śataminnu śarado anti devā yatrā naścakrā jarasaṃ tanūnām putrāso yatra pitaro bhavanti mā no madhyā rīriṣatāyurgantoḥ
May the gods grant a hundred autumns, where destruction did not consume the bodies; where fathers become progenitors, may they not cut short our middling vital force as they go.

अदि॑ति॒र्द्यौरदि॑तिर॒न्तरि॑क्ष॒मदि॑तिर्मा॒ता स पि॒ता स पु॒त्रः । विश्वे॑ दे॒वा अदि॑तिः॒ पञ्च॒ जना॒ अदि॑तिर्जा॒तमदि॑ति॒र्जनि॑त्वम्
aditirdyauraditirantarikṣamaditirmātā sa pitā sa putraḥ viśve devā aditiḥ pañca janā aditirjātamaditirjanitvam
Aditi is the sky, Aditi is the sun, Aditi is the mid-air; she is mother and father and son. All the gods are Aditi; fivefold is Aditi — she who gives birth, she who is born, she who begets.
