Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 1, Sukta 58 · Verse 1.58.1
nū citsahojā amṛto ni tundate hotā yaddūto abhavadvivasvataḥ vi sādhiṣṭhebhiḥ pathibhī rajo mama ā devatātā haviṣā vivāsati
Indeed the ever-youthful immortal stands not still; he who came forth from Vivasvat moves onward. With ordained paths the gods, bearing offerings, spread the sacred oblation of the bright ones for me.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 1, Sukta 58 · Verse 1.58.2
ā svamadma yuvamāno ajarastṛṣvaviṣyannataseṣu tiṣṭhati atyo na pṛṣṭhaṃ pruṣitasya rocate divo na sānu stanayannacikradat
May you, though not old, remain among the threefold hosts and stand untouched by decay. Too far does not please the back of him who is vigorous; the light of heaven did not withdraw nor fail him.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 1, Sukta 58 · Verse 1.58.3
krāṇā rudrebhirvasubhiḥ purohito hotā niṣatto rayiṣāḷamartyaḥ ratho na vikṣvṛñjasāna āyuṣu vyānuṣagvāryā deva ṛṇvati
With Rudras and Vasus the priest, the sacrificer, was set among the wealth of men; the chariot does not roam like a wearied steed — in life the gods repay the expiated one with prosperity.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 1, Sukta 58 · Verse 1.58.4
vi vātajūto ataseṣu tiṣṭhate vṛthā juhūbhiḥ sṛṇyā tuviṣvaṇiḥ tṛṣu yadagne vanino vṛṣāyase kṛṣṇaṃ ta ema ruśadūrme ajara
The wind-born stands among the like; vain are offerings when the poison listens. O Agni, when the hunters of thirst sought the black one, rashly you struck the mortal sharp.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 1, Sukta 58 · Verse 1.58.5
tapurjambho vana ā vātacodito yūthe na sāhvām̐ ava vāti vaṃsagaḥ abhivrajannakṣitaṃ pājasā rajaḥ sthātuścarathaṃ bhayate patatriṇaḥ
From the deep forest the wind stirred; in the company it blew — not the same companion breathes; the shafted row may stand, the chariot fears the falling leaves.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 1, Sukta 58 · Verse 1.58.6
dadhuṣṭvā bhṛgavo mānuṣeṣvā rayiṃ na cāruṃ suhavaṃ janebhyaḥ hotāramagne atithiṃ vareṇyaṃ mitraṃ na śevaṃ divyāya janmane
Bhrigu restrained not among men the rich and not the fair accord to people. O Agni, the priestly guest most excellent—do not fail the divine friend at birth.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 1, Sukta 58 · Verse 1.58.7
hotāraṃ sapta juhvo3 yajiṣṭhaṃ yaṃ vāghato vṛṇate adhvareṣu agniṃ viśveṣāmaratiṃ vasūnāṃ saparyāmi prayasā yāmi ratnam
The sacrificer, offered in seven oblations, the best chosen, whom the people select at the altars: I invoke Agni, lord of immortality and of the Vasus; with effort I bring forth the treasure.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 1, Sukta 58 · Verse 1.58.8
acchidrā sūno sahaso no adya stotṛbhyo mitramahaḥ śarma yaccha agne gṛṇantamaṃhasa uruṣyorjo napātpūrbhirāyasībhiḥ
O son of Acchidra, together with might now praise us, bestower of friendship and shelter. Agni, accept this song — the lofty song poured forth by former seers with their offerings.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 1, Sukta 58 · Verse 1.58.9
bhavā varūthaṃ gṛṇate vibhāvo bhavā maghavanmaghavadbhyaḥ śarma uruṣyāgne aṃhaso gṛṇantaṃ prātarmakṣū dhiyāvasurjagamyāt
Bhava utters a mighty call, Bhava, lord of wealth, to the wealthy; Agni, the mighty call they proclaim in the morning, the swift-sighted came with mind's desire.
