ए॒ष दे॒वो अम॑र्त्यः पर्ण॒वीरि॑व दीयति । अ॒भि द्रोणा॑न्या॒सद॑म्
eṣa devo amartyaḥ parṇavīriva dīyati abhi droṇānyāsadam
This god, deathless, gives like a leafy hero; he bestowed offerings upon the one who set the ladle.

ए॒ष दे॒वो वि॒पा कृ॒तोऽति॒ ह्वरां॑सि धावति । पव॑मानो॒ अदा॑भ्यः
eṣa devo vipā kṛto'ti hvarāṃsi dhāvati pavamāno adābhyaḥ
This god, when invoked, runs over the oblations; the purified one moves forward from the waters.

ए॒ष दे॒वो वि॑प॒न्युभिः॒ पव॑मान ऋता॒युभिः॑ । हरि॒र्वाजा॑य मृज्यते
eṣa devo vipanyubhiḥ pavamāna ṛtāyubhiḥ harirvājāya mṛjyate
This god, with manifold sacred rites, is purified for sacrifice; Hari is cleansed for strength and might.

ए॒ष विश्वा॑नि॒ वार्या॒ शूरो॒ यन्नि॑व॒ सत्व॑भिः । पव॑मानः सिषासति
eṣa viśvāni vāryā śūro yanniva satvabhiḥ pavamānaḥ siṣāsati
This power is all the carriers of riches which dwell as beings; the purified one will sit as a sacrificial washer.

ए॒ष दे॒वो र॑थर्यति॒ पव॑मानो दशस्यति । आ॒विष्कृ॑णोति वग्व॒नुम्
eṣa devo ratharyati pavamāno daśasyati āviṣkṛṇoti vagvanum
This god drives the chariot; the purified one harnesses ten steeds; he unveils the song and the mind.

This god, by priests' invocation, grasps the waters; he gave jewels to the dāśu offering.

ए॒ष दिवं॒ वि धा॑वति ति॒रो रजां॑सि॒ धार॑या । पव॑मानः॒ कनि॑क्रदत्
eṣa divaṃ vi dhāvati tiro rajāṃsi dhārayā pavamānaḥ kanikradat
This god runs the heaven with a current; the purified one made the channels flow.

ए॒ष दिवं॒ व्यास॑रत्ति॒रो रजां॒स्यस्पृ॑तः । पव॑मानः स्वध्व॒रः
eṣa divaṃ vyāsarattiro rajāṃsyaspṛtaḥ pavamānaḥ svadhvaraḥ
This god traverses the heaven’s breadth to the far shores; the purified one is the guardian of his dwelling.

ए॒ष प्र॒त्नेन॒ जन्म॑ना दे॒वो दे॒वेभ्यः॑ सु॒तः । हरिः॑ प॒वित्रे॑ अर्षति
eṣa pratnena janmanā devo devebhyaḥ sutaḥ hariḥ pavitre arṣati
This god by earliest striving was born from the gods; Hari shines in the holy place.

ए॒ष उ॒ स्य पु॑रुव्र॒तो ज॑ज्ञा॒नो ज॒नय॒न्निषः॑ । धार॑या पवते सु॒तः
eṣa u sya puruvrato jajñāno janayanniṣaḥ dhārayā pavate sutaḥ
This one, by ancient vow, knows the rites, begets the sons; by the current the purified one flows with the sacred.
