कु॒विद॒ङ्ग नम॑सा॒ ये वृ॒धासः॑ पु॒रा दे॒वा अ॑नव॒द्यास॒ आस॑न् । ते वा॒यवे॒ मन॑वे बाधि॒तायावा॑सयन्नु॒षसं॒ सूर्ये॑ण
kuvidaṅga namasā ye vṛdhāsaḥ purā devā anavadyāsa āsan te vāyave manave bādhitāyāvāsayannuṣasaṃ sūryeṇa
Those who once, venerable elders, spoke to the gods in former times — they restrained you with wind, placing strains upon the dwelling and the sun.

उ॒शन्ता॑ दू॒ता न दभा॑य गो॒पा मा॒सश्च॑ पा॒थः श॒रद॑श्च पू॒र्वीः । इन्द्र॑वायू सुष्टु॒तिर्वा॑मिया॒ना मा॑र्डी॒कमी॑ट्टे सुवि॒तं च॒ नव्य॑म्
uśantā dūtā na dabhāya gopā māsaśca pāthaḥ śaradaśca pūrvīḥ indravāyū suṣṭutirvāmiyānā mārḍīkamīṭṭe suvitaṃ ca navyam
The messengers restful, the kine not falling, months and paths, autumns earlier — Indra and Vāyu, your praise, by the auspicious ones, bring new prosperity.

पीवो॑अन्नाँ रयि॒वृधः॑ सुमे॒धाः श्वे॒तः सि॑षक्ति नि॒युता॑मभि॒श्रीः । ते वा॒यवे॒ सम॑नसो॒ वि त॑स्थु॒र्विश्वेन्नरः॑ स्वप॒त्यानि॑ चक्रुः
pīvoannām̐ rayivṛdhaḥ sumedhāḥ śvetaḥ siṣakti niyutāmabhiśrīḥ te vāyave samanaso vi tasthurviśvennaraḥ svapatyāni cakruḥ
They drank food, the abundant, wise, bright, with appointed gifts and splendour. To you, Winds, may all men sustain the sacrificial hymns and gifts.

याव॒त्तर॑स्त॒न्वो॒३॒॑ याव॒दोजो॒ याव॒न्नर॒श्चक्ष॑सा॒ दीध्या॑नाः । शुचिं॒ सोमं॑ शुचिपा पातम॒स्मे इन्द्र॑वायू॒ सद॑तं ब॒र्हिरेदम्
yāvattarastanvo3 yāvadojo yāvannaraścakṣasā dīdhyānāḥ śuciṃ somaṃ śucipā pātamasme indravāyū sadataṃ barhiredam
As long as your vigor and strength endure, as long as man's sight is lively — pour the pure Soma, the purifier, for us, O Indra and Vāyu, ever outward here.

नि॒यु॒वा॒ना नि॒युतः॑ स्पा॒र्हवी॑रा॒ इन्द्र॑वायू स॒रथं॑ यातम॒र्वाक् । इ॒दं हि वां॒ प्रभृ॑तं॒ मध्वो॒ अग्र॒मध॑ प्रीणा॒ना वि मु॑मुक्तम॒स्मे
niyuvānā niyutaḥ spārhavīrā indravāyū sarathaṃ yātamarvāk idaṃ hi vāṃ prabhṛtaṃ madhvo agramadha prīṇānā vi mumuktamasme
Ordered, sent forth, bold charioteers, Indra and Vāyu, may the chariot go by the word. This treasure of yours, foremost meads, please those near me who have been freed.

या वां॑ श॒तं नि॒युतो॒ याः स॒हस्र॒मिन्द्र॑वायू वि॒श्ववा॑राः॒ सच॑न्ते । आभि॑र्यातं सुवि॒दत्रा॑भिर॒र्वाक्पा॒तं न॑रा॒ प्रति॑भृतस्य॒ मध्वः॑
yā vāṃ śataṃ niyuto yāḥ sahasramindravāyū viśvavārāḥ sacante ābhiryātaṃ suvidatrābhirarvākpātaṃ narā pratibhṛtasya madhvaḥ
May those sent a hundredfold, those sent a thousandfold, Indra and Vāyu, come with all-choirs. Let abundant speech, plainly uttered, rain down nectar upon people for the beloved.

अर्व॑न्तो॒ न श्रव॑सो॒ भिक्ष॑माणा इन्द्रवा॒यू सु॑ष्टु॒तिभि॒र्वसि॑ष्ठाः । वा॒ज॒यन्तः॒ स्वव॑से हुवेम यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः
arvanto na śravaso bhikṣamāṇā indravāyū suṣṭutibhirvasiṣṭhāḥ vājayantaḥ svavase huvema yūyaṃ pāta svastibhiḥ sadā naḥ
You who come not as beggars nor as suppliants — Indra and Vāyu, bestowers of praise, most excellent. Traveling with victorious might, we invoke you: protect us with auspiciousness always.
