मध्वो॑ वो॒ नाम॒ मारु॑तं यजत्राः॒ प्र य॒ज्ञेषु॒ शव॑सा मदन्ति । ये रे॒जय॑न्ति॒ रोद॑सी चिदु॒र्वी पिन्व॒न्त्युत्सं॒ यदया॑सुरु॒ग्राः
madhvo vo nāma mārutaṃ yajatrāḥ pra yajñeṣu śavasā madanti ye rejayanti rodasī cidurvī pinvantyutsaṃ yadayāsurugrāḥ
We call Marut by the name Madhva, the worshipper at the rites who delights in offerings. They pour out spoil who rule—those who spread the bright dew and who are fierce in might.

नि॒चे॒तारो॒ हि म॒रुतो॑ गृ॒णन्तं॑ प्रणे॒तारो॒ यज॑मानस्य॒ मन्म॑ । अ॒स्माक॑म॒द्य वि॒दथे॑षु ब॒र्हिरा वी॒तये॑ सदत पिप्रिया॒णाः
nicetāro hi maruto gṛṇantaṃ praṇetāro yajamānasya manma asmākamadya vidatheṣu barhirā vītaye sadata pipriyāṇāḥ
The lowly-minded Marut grieves at the invocation; the sacrificer utters his heart. Today for us, in these rites, the bold ones, famed among singers, stand forward with loving offerings.

नैताव॑द॒न्ये म॒रुतो॒ यथे॒मे भ्राज॑न्ते रु॒क्मैरायु॑धैस्त॒नूभिः॑ । आ रोद॑सी विश्व॒पिशः॑ पिशा॒नाः स॑मा॒नम॒ञ्ज्य॑ञ्जते शु॒भे कम्
naitāvadanye maruto yatheme bhrājante rukmairāyudhaistanūbhiḥ ā rodasī viśvapiśaḥ piśānāḥ samānamañjyañjate śubhe kam
No others do the Maruts shine like these, with radiant weapons and bodies. Dew from the sky, hosts of creatures and demons, are equally struck—may auspicious lot attend us.

ऋध॒क्सा वो॑ मरुतो दि॒द्युद॑स्तु॒ यद्व॒ आगः॑ पुरु॒षता॒ करा॑म । मा व॒स्तस्या॒मपि॑ भूमा यजत्रा अ॒स्मे वो॑ अस्तु सुम॒तिश्चनि॑ष्ठा
ṛdhaksā vo maruto didyudastu yadva āgaḥ puruṣatā karāma mā vastasyāmapi bhūmā yajatrā asme vo astu sumatiścaniṣṭhā
O Marut, be our strong guardian, lord of heroes; may your band cross over paths and pass through foes. Let not the mighty overwhelm us; be present with good thought and steadfastness.

कृ॒ते चि॒दत्र॑ म॒रुतो॑ रणन्तानव॒द्यासः॒ शुच॑यः पाव॒काः । प्र णो॑ऽवत सुम॒तिभि॑र्यजत्राः॒ प्र वाजे॑भिस्तिरत पु॒ष्यसे॑ नः
kṛte cidatra maruto raṇantānavadyāsaḥ śucayaḥ pāvakāḥ pra ṇo'vata sumatibhiryajatrāḥ pra vājebhistirata puṣyase naḥ
When the Maruts, like flame-bearing cleansers, fought in the battle and spread brightness, the worshippers with good minds offered oblations; may they, driving away harm, give us prosperity and strength.

उ॒त स्तु॒तासो॑ म॒रुतो॑ व्यन्तु॒ विश्वे॑भि॒र्नाम॑भि॒र्नरो॑ ह॒वींषि॑ । ददा॑त नो अ॒मृत॑स्य प्र॒जायै॑ जिगृ॒त रा॒यः सू॒नृता॑ म॒घानि॑
uta stutāso maruto vyantu viśvebhirnāmabhirnaro havīṃṣi dadāta no amṛtasya prajāyai jigṛta rāyaḥ sūnṛtā maghāni
May the praised Maruts, who move among all peoples and men, perform this invocation. Grant us the wealth of immortal prosperity for progeny; bring forth the abundant treasures and glories.

आ स्तु॒तासो॑ मरुतो॒ विश्व॑ ऊ॒ती अच्छा॑ सू॒रीन्स॒र्वता॑ता जिगात । ये न॒स्त्मना॑ श॒तिनो॑ व॒र्धय॑न्ति यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः
ā stutāso maruto viśva ūtī acchā sūrīnsarvatātā jigāta ye nastmanā śatino vardhayanti yūyaṃ pāta svastibhiḥ sadā naḥ
May the praised Maruts, the all-protecting, ever excellent chiefs of the Sun, who increase our strength with might, grant you prosperity and always protect us with blessings.
