ā no deva śavasā yāhi śuṣminbhavā vṛdha indra rāyo asya mahe nṛmṇāya nṛpate suvajra mahi kṣatrāya pauṃsyāya śūra
May the gods bring us that life-giving strength, like the waxing Indra of this realm; O great king, for the people, O ruler, mighty in power, for protection, O hero, grant us abundant bounty.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 7, Sukta 30 · Verse 7.30.2
havanta u tvā havyaṃ vivāci tanūṣu śūrāḥ sūryasya sātau tvaṃ viśveṣu senyo janeṣu tvaṃ vṛtrāṇi randhayā suhantu
They offered the oblation to you; the heroic ones proclaimed the sacred offering in the bodies of the Sun’s pair. Be leader among all hosts and peoples; rend the Vrtras and let them perish.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 7, Sukta 30 · Verse 7.30.3
ahā yadindra sudinā vyucchāndadho yatketumupamaṃ samatsu nya1gniḥ sīdadasuro na hotā huvāno atra subhagāya devān
Ah, when Indra at the auspicious day unloosed and placed what is like a banner among the hosts — the fire did not sit as a hostile one, not the ally here of the gods.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 7, Sukta 30 · Verse 7.30.4
vayaṃ te ta indra ye ca deva stavanta śūra dadato maghāni yacchā sūribhya upamaṃ varūthaṃ svābhuvo jaraṇāmaśnavanta
We are those who praised you, O Indra; the gods granted heroic treasures. Whatever you gave to the heroes as equal portion, the offspring ate it of their own being.

vocemedindraṃ maghavānamenaṃ maho rāyo rādhaso yaddadannaḥ yo arcato brahmakṛtimaviṣṭho yūyaṃ pāta svastibhiḥ sadā naḥ
We have spoken to Indra, the mighty, this great bounty, the generous king who gave us what he bestowed. He who worships the maker of Brahman, rejoicing, may you always protect us with blessings.
