आ नो॑ देव॒ शव॑सा याहि शुष्मि॒न्भवा॑ वृ॒ध इ॑न्द्र रा॒यो अ॒स्य । म॒हे नृ॒म्णाय॑ नृपते सुवज्र॒ महि॑ क्ष॒त्राय॒ पौंस्या॑य शूर
ā no deva śavasā yāhi śuṣminbhavā vṛdha indra rāyo asya mahe nṛmṇāya nṛpate suvajra mahi kṣatrāya pauṃsyāya śūra
May the gods bring us that life-giving strength, like the waxing Indra of this realm; O great king, for the people, O ruler, mighty in power, for protection, O hero, grant us abundant bounty.
Divine and powerful (Indra), come to us with your strength; be the augmenter of our riches; be to us,king of men, wielder of the thunderbolt, for (a source of) vigour, of great prowess, hero, of manhood.
WITH power and strength, O Mighty God, approach us: be the augmenter, Indra, of these riches; Strong Thunderer, Lord of men, for potent valour, for manly exploit and for high dominion.
