na soma indramasuto mamāda nābrahmāṇo maghavānaṃ sutāsaḥ tasmā ukthaṃ janaye yajjujoṣannṛvannavīyaḥ śaṛṇavadyathā naḥ
O Soma, Indra is not distant from me, nor is he unknown; the mighty-born, the sons, have made him ours. Therefore let the hymn that the youthful singers have uttered, as the seers declared, be heard by us.

ukthaukthe soma indraṃ mamāda nīthenīthe maghavānaṃ sutāsaḥ yadīṃ sabādhaḥ pitaraṃ na putrāḥ samānadakṣā avase havante
In the hymn they praised Soma and Indra, the mighty-born, the sons; whether the assembled ones or the fathers or the well-skilled sons perform the rites, they bring offerings.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 7, Sukta 26 · Verse 7.26.3
cakāra tā kṛṇavannūnamanyā yāni bruvanti vedhasaḥ suteṣu janīriva patirekaḥ samāno ni māmṛje pura indraḥ su sarvāḥ
They performed, made and decreed the lesser acts that the wise ones among the singers speak. Like a single husband to a maiden, so may Indra not reject me; may he be entirely favorable.

evā tamāhuruta śaṛṇva indra eko vibhaktā taraṇirmaghānām mithastura ūtayo yasya pūrvīrasme bhadrāṇi saścata priyāṇi
Thus they spoke: listen, Indra, who alone cleaves the flood of enemies like a ford through the foam. May the heroic ones of old, who are friendly to us, bestow auspicious and beloved things.

evā vasiṣṭha indramūtaye nṝnkṛṣṭīnāṃ vṛṣabhaṃ sute gṛṇāti sahasriṇa upa no māhi vājānyūyaṃ pāta svastibhiḥ sadā naḥ
Thus Vasiṣṭha invoked Indra: he praises the bull of men for the cultivators; grant us a thousandfold wealth, O mighty one, protect us always with well-being.
