सोमा॑रुद्रा धा॒रये॑थामसु॒र्यं१॒॑ प्र वा॑मि॒ष्टयोऽर॑मश्नुवन्तु । दमे॑दमे स॒प्त रत्ना॒ दधा॑ना॒ शं नो॑ भूतं द्वि॒पदे॒ शं चतु॑ष्पदे
somārudrā dhārayethāmasuryaṃ1 pra vāmiṣṭayo'ramaśnuvantu damedame sapta ratnā dadhānā śaṃ no bhūtaṃ dvipade śaṃ catuṣpade
Soma and Rudra, bear this to the gods; give us the sacred draught. Set seven jewels before us, and grant us well-being—let the two-footed and four-footed prosper.

सोमा॑रुद्रा॒ वि वृ॑हतं॒ विषू॑ची॒ममी॑वा॒ या नो॒ गय॑मावि॒वेश॑ । आ॒रे बा॑धेथां॒ निरृ॑तिं परा॒चैर॒स्मे भ॒द्रा सौ॑श्रव॒सानि॑ सन्तु
somārudrā vi vṛhataṃ viṣūcīmamīvā yā no gayamāviveśa āre bādhethāṃ nirṛtiṃ parācairasme bhadrā sauśravasāni santu
Soma and Rudra, extend the mighty spear that pierced for us what went astray; bind off falsehood, avert calamity from us; let auspicious, famed dwellings abide with us.

सोमा॑रुद्रा यु॒वमे॒तान्य॒स्मे विश्वा॑ त॒नूषु॑ भेष॒जानि॑ धत्तम् । अव॑ स्यतं मु॒ञ्चतं॒ यन्नो॒ अस्ति॑ त॒नूषु॑ ब॒द्धं कृ॒तमेनो॑ अ॒स्मत्
somārudrā yuvametānyasme viśvā tanūṣu bheṣajāni dhattam ava syataṃ muñcataṃ yanno asti tanūṣu baddhaṃ kṛtameno asmat
Soma and Rudra, clothe our bodies with all kinds of ornament and armor; remove from us what is harmful and release what binds us, making us free and strong by your deed.

ति॒ग्मायु॑धौ ति॒ग्महे॑ती सु॒शेवौ॒ सोमा॑रुद्रावि॒ह सु मृ॑ळतं नः । प्र नो॑ मुञ्चतं॒ वरु॑णस्य॒ पाशा॑द्गोपा॒यतं॑ नः सुमन॒स्यमा॑ना
tigmāyudhau tigmahetī suśevau somārudrāviha su mṛḷataṃ naḥ pra no muñcataṃ varuṇasya pāśādgopāyataṃ naḥ sumanasyamānā
Make our weapons keen and effective like sharp-edged tools; Soma and Rudra, free us from Varuna’s noose, guard us with counsel and kindly mind.
