Soma and Rudra, extend the mighty spear that pierced for us what went astray; bind off falsehood, avert calamity from us; let auspicious, famed dwellings abide with us.
Soma and Rudra, expel the widespread sickness that has entered into our dwellings; keep off Nirṛti, so that she may be far away, and may prosperous means of sustenance be ours.
Soma and Rudra, chase to every quarter the sickness that hath visited our dwelling. Drive Nirrti away into the distance, and give us excellent and happy glories.
