ए॒षा स्या नो॑ दुहि॒ता दि॑वो॒जाः क्षि॒तीरु॒च्छन्ती॒ मानु॑षीरजीगः । या भा॒नुना॒ रुश॑ता रा॒म्यास्वज्ञा॑यि ति॒रस्तम॑सश्चिद॒क्तून्
eṣā syā no duhitā divojāḥ kṣitīrucchantī mānuṣīrajīgaḥ yā bhānunā ruśatā rāmyāsvajñāyi tirastamasaścidaktūn
This one is our daughter, born of Heaven and towering over Earth — like the striving of mortals. She, brightened by the sun, driving away ignorance, has pierced the darkness.

वि तद्य॑युररुण॒युग्भि॒रश्वै॑श्चि॒त्रं भा॑न्त्यु॒षस॑श्च॒न्द्रर॑थाः । अग्रं॑ य॒ज्ञस्य॑ बृह॒तो नय॑न्ती॒र्वि ता बा॑धन्ते॒ तम॒ ऊर्म्या॑याः
vi tadyayuraruṇayugbhiraśvaiścitraṃ bhāntyuṣasaścandrarathāḥ agraṃ yajñasya bṛhato nayantīrvi tā bādhante tama ūrmyāyāḥ
They said: with reddish-hued yokes, with splendid steeds and wondrous chariots the shining chariot-riders brighten. Leading the foremost of the great sacrifice, the waves bind them.

श्रवो॒ वाज॒मिष॒मूर्जं॒ वह॑न्ती॒र्नि दा॒शुष॑ उषसो॒ मर्त्या॑य । म॒घोनी॑र्वी॒रव॒त्पत्य॑माना॒ अवो॑ धात विध॒ते रत्न॑म॒द्य
śravo vājamiṣamūrjaṃ vahantīrni dāśuṣa uṣaso martyāya maghonīrvīravatpatyamānā avo dhāta vidhate ratnamadya
They bear the heard wealth and stir the might for the dawning of mortals. The Magnificent, commander of heroes, fashioned treasures this day with skillful hand.

इ॒दा हि वो॑ विध॒ते रत्न॒मस्ती॒दा वी॒राय॑ दा॒शुष॑ उषासः । इ॒दा विप्रा॑य॒ जर॑ते॒ यदु॒क्था नि ष्म॒ माव॑ते वहथा पु॒रा चि॑त्
idā hi vo vidhate ratnamastīdā vīrāya dāśuṣa uṣāsaḥ idā viprāya jarate yadukthā ni ṣma māvate vahathā purā cit
This indeed fashioned for you the jewel; this dawn, O hero, gave the oblation to mortals. This dawn with the wise grows old, when the hymns are uttered, as formerly and in thought.

इ॒दा हि त॑ उषो अद्रिसानो गो॒त्रा गवा॒मङ्गि॑रसो गृ॒णन्ति॑ । व्य१॒॑र्केण॑ बिभिदु॒र्ब्रह्म॑णा च स॒त्या नृ॒णाम॑भवद्दे॒वहू॑तिः
idā hi ta uṣo adrisāno gotrā gavāmaṅgiraso gṛṇanti vya1rkeṇa bibhidurbrahmaṇā ca satyā nṛṇāmabhavaddevahūtiḥ
This dawn indeed those kine of the tribes, the cows’ flanks, sing. With sacred formula and the brahman-speech they became true among men — the divine invocation was born.

उ॒च्छा दि॑वो दुहितः प्रत्न॒वन्नो॑ भरद्वाज॒वद्वि॑ध॒ते म॑घोनि । सु॒वीरं॑ र॒यिं गृ॑ण॒ते रि॑रीह्युरुगा॒यमधि॑ धेहि॒ श्रवो॑ नः
ucchā divo duhitaḥ pratnavanno bharadvājavadvidhate maghoni suvīraṃ rayiṃ gṛṇate rirīhyurugāyamadhi dhehi śravo naḥ
The lofty daughter of Heaven, praised, bestows the abundant spoil on Bharadvaja’s famed one in the warriors. Call the brave lord, invoke the wealth; give ear to our fame, O hearers.
