इ॒दा हि त॑ उषो अद्रिसानो गो॒त्रा गवा॒मङ्गि॑रसो गृ॒णन्ति॑ । व्य१॒॑र्केण॑ बिभिदु॒र्ब्रह्म॑णा च स॒त्या नृ॒णाम॑भवद्दे॒वहू॑तिः
idā hi ta uṣo adrisāno gotrā gavāmaṅgiraso gṛṇanti vya1rkeṇa bibhidurbrahmaṇā ca satyā nṛṇāmabhavaddevahūtiḥ
This dawn indeed those kine of the tribes, the cows’ flanks, sing. With sacred formula and the brahman-speech they became true among men — the divine invocation was born.
Verily, Dawns, there is at presen wealh to give to your worshipper, to the man offering (oblations) to the sage repeating your praise; if the praises (are accepted), then bring to him who is like me such wealth as has been formerly bestowed (upon myself).
O Dawn who standest on the mountain ridges, Angirases now praise thy stalls of cattle. With prayer and holy hymn they burst them open: the heroes' calling on the Gods was fruitful.
