This indeed fashioned for you the jewel; this dawn, O hero, gave the oblation to mortals. This dawn with the wise grows old, when the hymns are uttered, as formerly and in thought.
Verily, Dawns, there is at present wealth to give to your worshiper, to the man offering (oblations) to the sage repeating your praise; if the praises (are accepted), then bring to him who is like me such wealth as has been formerly bestowed (upon myself).
Now is there treasure for the man who serves you, now for the hero, Dawns! who brings oblation; Now for the singer when he sings the praise-song. Even to one like me ye brought aforetime.
