प्र नु वो॑चा सु॒तेषु॑ वां वी॒र्या॒३॒॑ यानि॑ च॒क्रथुः॑ । ह॒तासो॑ वां पि॒तरो॑ दे॒वश॑त्रव॒ इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ जीव॑थो यु॒वम्
pra nu vocā suteṣu vāṃ vīryā3 yāni cakrathuḥ hatāso vāṃ pitaro devaśatrava indrāgnī jīvatho yuvam
Now proclaim to us, O heroes, the mighty deeds and those ways which the fathers and the gods and Indra and Agni bestowed upon you; live, O youths.

बळि॒त्था म॑हि॒मा वा॒मिन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ पनि॑ष्ठ॒ आ । स॒मा॒नो वां॑ जनि॒ता भ्रात॑रा यु॒वं य॒मावि॒हेह॑मातरा
baḷitthā mahimā vāmindrāgnī paniṣṭha ā samāno vāṃ janitā bhrātarā yuvaṃ yamāvihehamātarā
Might and greatness, Indra and Agni, are your bestowers; the equal-born parents generated you; you, brethren, may be allied with Yama’s sisters.

ओ॒कि॒वांसा॑ सु॒ते सचा॒ँ अश्वा॒ सप्ती॑ इ॒वाद॑ने । इन्द्रा॒ न्व१॒॑ग्नी अव॑से॒ह व॒ज्रिणा॑ व॒यं दे॒वा ह॑वामहे
okivāṃsā sute sacām̐ aśvā saptī ivādane indrā nva1gnī avaseha vajriṇā vayaṃ devā havāmahe
In your sons, O leaders, are seven swift horses yoked in this assembly; Indra and Agni, uphold them with the thunderous one; we, the gods, invoke the oblation.

य इ॑न्द्राग्नी सु॒तेषु॑ वां॒ स्तव॒त्तेष्वृ॑तावृधा । जो॒ष॒वा॒कं वद॑तः पज्रहोषिणा॒ न दे॑वा भ॒सथ॑श्च॒न
ya indrāgnī suteṣu vāṃ stavatteṣvṛtāvṛdhā joṣavākaṃ vadataḥ pajrahoṣiṇā na devā bhasathaścana
Whoever among Indra and Agni praises you in the assemblies, speaking of your heroic deeds—those gods do not weaken; they defend the mighty.

इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ को अ॒स्य वां॒ देवौ॒ मर्त॑श्चिकेतति । विषू॑चो॒ अश्वा॑न्युयुजा॒न ई॑यत॒ एकः॑ समा॒न आ रथे॑
indrāgnī ko asya vāṃ devau martaściketati viṣūco aśvānyuyujāna īyata ekaḥ samāna ā rathe
Which of you, Indra or Agni, is this godly mortal—who discerns the mortal and the god? The swift chariot yoked one horse; he proceeds alone in the common chariot.

इन्द्रा॑ग्नी अ॒पादि॒यं पूर्वागा॑त्प॒द्वती॑भ्यः । हि॒त्वी शिरो॑ जि॒ह्वया॒ वाव॑द॒च्चर॑त्त्रिं॒शत्प॒दा न्य॑क्रमीत्
indrāgnī apādiyaṃ pūrvāgātpadvatībhyaḥ hitvī śiro jihvayā vāvadaccarattriṃśatpadā nyakramīt
Indra and Agni set forth from the feet of those who went before; cutting off (the foe) with head and tongue, they advanced having taken from the thirty feet.

इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ आ हि त॑न्व॒ते नरो॒ धन्वा॑नि बा॒ह्वोः । मा नो॑ अ॒स्मिन्म॑हाध॒ने परा॑ वर्क्तं॒ गवि॑ष्टिषु
indrāgnī ā hi tanvate naro dhanvāni bāhvoḥ mā no asminmahādhane parā varktaṃ gaviṣṭiṣu
Indra and Agni, you stretch forth the chariot-yoking men and the bow-bearers; do not let our minds be turned away in this great wealth, but make them serve the cattle.

इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ तप॑न्ति मा॒घा अ॒र्यो अरा॑तयः । अप॒ द्वेषां॒स्या कृ॑तं युयु॒तं सूर्या॒दधि॑
indrāgnī tapanti māghā aryo arātayaḥ apa dveṣāṃsyā kṛtaṃ yuyutaṃ sūryādadhi
Indra and Agni, the Maghās (nobles) burn, the Aryas make them ashamed; set apart that which was made in hatred, the hostile with the Sun above.

इन्द्रा॑ग्नी यु॒वोरपि॒ वसु॑ दि॒व्यानि॒ पार्थि॑वा । आ न॑ इ॒ह प्र य॑च्छतं र॒यिं वि॒श्वायु॑पोषसम्
indrāgnī yuvorapi vasu divyāni pārthivā ā na iha pra yacchataṃ rayiṃ viśvāyupoṣasam
Indra and Agni, your riches are both heavenly and earthly; grant us here the offered wealth, sustainer of universal life.

इन्द्रा॑ग्नी उक्थवाहसा॒ स्तोमे॑भिर्हवनश्रुता । विश्वा॑भिर्गी॒र्भिरा ग॑तम॒स्य सोम॑स्य पी॒तये॑
indrāgnī ukthavāhasā stomebhirhavanaśrutā viśvābhirgīrbhirā gatamasya somasya pītaye
Indra and Agni, famous in hymns and heard in sacrificial chants, by all the voices and verses this Soma has gone for drinking.
