In your sons, O leaders, are seven swift horses yoked in this assembly; Indra and Agni, uphold them with the thunderous one; we, the gods, invoke the oblation.
You approach together, when the libation is effused, like two fleet coursers to their forage; we invoke today Indra and Agni, deities armed with the thunderbolt, to this ceremony for our preservation.
These who delight in flowing juice, like fellow horses at their food, Indra and Agni, Gods armed with the thunderbolt, we call this day to come with help.
