apādita udu naścitratamo mahīṃ bharṣaddyumatīmindrahūtim panyasīṃ dhītiṃ daivyasya yāmañjanasya rātiṃ vanate sudānuḥ

He who spoke forth, the wondrous announcer, struck the earth and called Indra with a thought full of heaven and power. He gave the divine counsel, nightlike, bringing the dark road of the realm.
