Thus I have offered sacrifice with strength; I am not boastful, I am faithful to what I have heard. With great might I will dispatch the priest among those who oppose the Vṛtra-born ones.

So, wise Indra, may we today propitiate you who are manifested, to overcome (our foes), you who are greatly augmenting, mighty and free, for (the sake of) wealth, fame, and protection, and for the destruction of (our) enemies.

Him, born for conquering might in full perfection, and waxen strongfor bounty and for glory, Great, Powerful, will we to-day, O singer, invite to aid. us and to quell our foemen.
