दू॒राच्चि॒दा व॑सतो अस्य॒ कर्णा॒ घोषा॒दिन्द्र॑स्य तन्यति ब्रुवा॒णः । एयमे॑नं दे॒वहू॑तिर्ववृत्यान्म॒द्र्य१॒॑गिन्द्र॑मि॒यमृ॒च्यमा॑ना
dūrāccidā vasato asya karṇā ghoṣādindrasya tanyati bruvāṇaḥ eyamenaṃ devahūtirvavṛtyānmadrya1gindramiyamṛcyamānā
Far and wide the dwelling’s ears hear the cries of Indra. This divine oblation revealed the Maruts’ might; the intoxicating, unmeasured Marut-urge stirred Indra with boundless force.
Reciting (his praise, the worshipper) calls aloud, that by the sound he may reach the ears of Indra, although abiding afar off; may this invocation of the deity, inducing, him (to come), bring Indra to my presence.
The speaker filleth with a cry to Indra his ears who cometh nigh e'en from a distance. May this my call bring Indra to my presence, this call to Gods composed in sacred verses.
