तं वां॒ रथं॑ व॒यम॒द्या हु॑वेम पृथु॒ज्रय॑मश्विना॒ संग॑तिं॒ गोः । यः सू॒र्यां वह॑ति वन्धुरा॒युर्गिर्वा॑हसं पुरु॒तमं॑ वसू॒युम्
taṃ vāṃ rathaṃ vayamadyā huvema pṛthujrayamaśvinā saṃgatiṃ goḥ yaḥ sūryāṃ vahati vandhurāyurgirvāhasaṃ purutamaṃ vasūyum
This chariot of yours we harness today, O Ashvins, the hosts of the kine and the cows gathered; he who bears the sun, the strong-bodied, bestows abundant goods and the foremost wealth.

यु॒वं श्रिय॑मश्विना दे॒वता॒ तां दिवो॑ नपाता वनथः॒ शची॑भिः । यु॒वोर्वपु॑र॒भि पृक्षः॑ सचन्ते॒ वह॑न्ति॒ यत्क॑कु॒हासो॒ रथे॑ वाम्
yuvaṃ śriyamaśvinā devatā tāṃ divo napātā vanathaḥ śacībhiḥ yuvorvapurabhi pṛkṣaḥ sacante vahanti yatkakuhāso rathe vām
You, Ashvins, shining in glory and divine, bring forth that heavenly draught from the lofty firmament with Shachi; their bodies and forms the seekers desire — they carry what the creaking of the chariot brings.

को वा॑म॒द्या क॑रते रा॒तह॑व्य ऊ॒तये॑ वा सुत॒पेया॑य वा॒र्कैः । ऋ॒तस्य॑ वा व॒नुषे॑ पू॒र्व्याय॒ नमो॑ येमा॒नो अ॑श्वि॒ना व॑वर्तत्
ko vāmadyā karate rātahavya ūtaye vā sutapeyāya vārkaiḥ ṛtasya vā vanuṣe pūrvyāya namo yemāno aśvinā vavartat
Who this day performs the ritual of night, the libation or the sun’s rite? To the sacred law, to the ancient order, salute those Ashvins who returned.

हि॒र॒ण्यये॑न पुरुभू॒ रथे॑ने॒मं य॒ज्ञं ना॑स॒त्योप॑ यातम् । पिबा॑थ॒ इन्मधु॑नः सो॒म्यस्य॒ दध॑थो॒ रत्नं॑ विध॒ते जना॑य
hiraṇyayena purubhū rathenemaṃ yajñaṃ nāsatyopa yātam pibātha inmadhunaḥ somyasya dadhatho ratnaṃ vidhate janāya
With golden splendor mount this great chariot; let not this sacrifice depart. Drink the sweet mead of Soma, bestow the jewel upon the people, O generous ones.

आ नो॑ यातं दि॒वो अच्छा॑ पृथि॒व्या हि॑र॒ण्यये॑न सु॒वृता॒ रथे॑न । मा वा॑म॒न्ये नि य॑मन्देव॒यन्तः॒ सं यद्द॒दे नाभिः॑ पू॒र्व्या वा॑म्
ā no yātaṃ divo acchā pṛthivyā hiraṇyayena suvṛtā rathena mā vāmanye ni yamandevayantaḥ saṃ yaddade nābhiḥ pūrvyā vām
Bring us from the sky and earth a splendid chariot wrought with gold; let others not take away what you have given near the front to us of old.

नू नो॑ र॒यिं पु॑रु॒वीरं॑ बृ॒हन्तं॒ दस्रा॒ मिमा॑थामु॒भये॑ष्व॒स्मे । नरो॒ यद्वा॑मश्विना॒ स्तोम॒माव॑न्स॒धस्तु॑तिमाजमी॒ळ्हासो॑ अग्मन्
nū no rayiṃ puruvīraṃ bṛhantaṃ dasrā mimāthāmubhayeṣvasme naro yadvāmaśvinā stomamāvansadhastutimājamīḷhāso agman
Now for us set up a broad, heroic dwelling, great, O strong ones; make this our path, Ashvins, in both directions. Men, O Ashvins, sang your hymn and advanced with praise and holy sport.

इ॒हेह॒ यद्वां॑ सम॒ना प॑पृ॒क्षे सेयम॒स्मे सु॑म॒तिर्वा॑जरत्ना । उ॒रु॒ष्यतं॑ जरि॒तारं॑ यु॒वं ह॑ श्रि॒तः कामो॑ नासत्या युव॒द्रिक्
iheha yadvāṃ samanā papṛkṣe seyamasme sumatirvājaratnā uruṣyataṃ jaritāraṃ yuvaṃ ha śritaḥ kāmo nāsatyā yuvadrik
Here, what like ones you asked for we sought: grant us good mind and thunder-jewels. Let the vigorous one become enduring, you young man, endowed with glory — the desire not to fail, O youthful leader.
