आ॒शुं द॑धि॒क्रां तमु॒ नु ष्ट॑वाम दि॒वस्पृ॑थि॒व्या उ॒त च॑र्किराम । उ॒च्छन्ती॒र्मामु॒षसः॑ सूदय॒न्त्वति॒ विश्वा॑नि दुरि॒तानि॑ पर्षन्
āśuṃ dadhikrāṃ tamu nu ṣṭavāma divaspṛthivyā uta carkirāma ucchantīrmāmuṣasaḥ sūdayantvati viśvāni duritāni parṣan
Quickly the sacrificers praised the luminous one, the earth and heaven and the circling ones; the rising hosts, may they pour out and drive away every wrong, dispersing all our misdeeds.

म॒हश्च॑र्क॒र्म्यर्व॑तः क्रतु॒प्रा द॑धि॒क्राव्णः॑ पुरु॒वार॑स्य॒ वृष्णः॑ । यं पू॒रुभ्यो॑ दीदि॒वांसं॒ नाग्निं द॒दथु॑र्मित्रावरुणा॒ ततु॑रिम्
mahaścarkarmyarvataḥ kratuprā dadhikrāvṇaḥ puruvārasya vṛṣṇaḥ yaṃ pūrubhyo dīdivāṃsaṃ nāgniṃ dadathurmitrāvaruṇā taturim
The mighty circler of rites, the efficacious performer, fixed the power of the ancient, the host of strength; he who, first among men, gave fire to the shining ones, Mitra and Varuṇa bestowed the glorious heaven.

यो अश्व॑स्य दधि॒क्राव्णो॒ अका॑री॒त्समि॑द्धे अ॒ग्ना उ॒षसो॒ व्यु॑ष्टौ । अना॑गसं॒ तमदि॑तिः कृणोतु॒ स मि॒त्रेण॒ वरु॑णेना स॒जोषाः॑
yo aśvasya dadhikrāvṇo akārītsamiddhe agnā uṣaso vyuṣṭau anāgasaṃ tamaditiḥ kṛṇotu sa mitreṇa varuṇenā sajoṣāḥ
He who called forth the horse made the fire’s service arranged with dawn; let the unbounded sun fashion that day, may he make harmony with Mitra and Varuṇa.

द॒धि॒क्राव्ण॑ इ॒ष ऊ॒र्जो म॒हो यदम॑न्महि म॒रुतां॒ नाम॑ भ॒द्रम् । स्व॒स्तये॒ वरु॑णं मि॒त्रम॒ग्निं हवा॑मह॒ इन्द्रं॒ वज्र॑बाहुम्
dadhikrāvṇa iṣa ūrjo maho yadamanmahi marutāṃ nāma bhadram svastaye varuṇaṃ mitramagniṃ havāmaha indraṃ vajrabāhum
The sacrificer Aśvamedha—this is the mighty vigor of the great—named Maruts in honor; for wellbeing we invoke Varuṇa, Mitra, Agni; Indra, the thunder-armed, we call.

इन्द्र॑मि॒वेदु॒भये॒ वि ह्व॑यन्त उ॒दीरा॑णा य॒ज्ञमु॑पप्र॒यन्तः॑ । द॒धि॒क्रामु॒ सूद॑नं॒ मर्त्या॑य द॒दथु॑र्मित्रावरुणा नो॒ अश्व॑म्
indramivedubhaye vi hvayanta udīrāṇā yajñamupaprayantaḥ dadhikrāmu sūdanaṃ martyāya dadathurmitrāvaruṇā no aśvam
As Indra they invoked both, making proclamations, the priests offering the vow for the sacrifice; they gave the swift steed to mortal Sūdan, Mitra and Varuṇa gave us the horse.

द॒धि॒क्राव्णो॑ अकारिषं जि॒ष्णोरश्व॑स्य वा॒जिनः॑ । सु॒र॒भि नो॒ मुखा॑ कर॒त्प्र ण॒ आयूं॑षि तारिषत्
dadhikrāvṇo akāriṣaṃ jiṣṇoraśvasya vājinaḥ surabhi no mukhā karatpra ṇa āyūṃṣi tāriṣat
He who called forth the horse made the victor the rider’s power; may they produce for us bountiful breath and length of life from abundant mouths.
