भवा॑ नो अग्ने सु॒मना॒ उपे॑तौ॒ सखे॑व॒ सख्ये॑ पि॒तरे॑व सा॒धुः । पु॒रु॒द्रुहो॒ हि क्षि॒तयो॒ जना॑नां॒ प्रति॑ प्रती॒चीर्द॑हता॒दरा॑तीः
bhavā no agne sumanā upetau sakheva sakhye pitareva sādhuḥ purudruho hi kṣitayo janānāṃ prati pratīcīrdahatādarātīḥ
Be unto us, O Agni, pleasant-minded, accepted like a friend and like a father; the mighty roarer indeed overwhelms hostile peoples, and the eastern flame destroys the foes.

तपो॒ ष्व॑ग्ने॒ अन्त॑राँ अ॒मित्रा॒न्तपा॒ शंस॒मर॑रुषः॒ पर॑स्य । तपो॑ वसो चिकिता॒नो अ॒चित्ता॒न्वि ते॑ तिष्ठन्ताम॒जरा॑ अ॒यासः॑
tapo ṣvagne antarām̐ amitrāntapā śaṃsamararuṣaḥ parasya tapo vaso cikitāno acittānvi te tiṣṭhantāmajarā ayāsaḥ
O Agni, burning within, invader of foes, fierce in wrath and destroying enemies, may your steady vigor remain; may tireless might abide with you unaging.

इ॒ध्मेना॑ग्न इ॒च्छमा॑नो घृ॒तेन॑ जु॒होमि॑ ह॒व्यं तर॑से॒ बला॑य । याव॒दीशे॒ ब्रह्म॑णा॒ वन्द॑मान इ॒मां धियं॑ शत॒सेया॑य दे॒वीम्
idhmenāgna icchamāno ghṛtena juhomi havyaṃ tarase balāya yāvadīśe brahmaṇā vandamāna imāṃ dhiyaṃ śataseyāya devīm
Desiring with wood and butter, I offer this oblation to Agni, the purifier, to secure strength. As long as the worshipper praises with mind and devotion, may this goddess of thought be propitious a hundredfold.

उच्छो॒चिषा॑ सहसस्पुत्र स्तु॒तो बृ॒हद्वयः॑ शशमा॒नेषु॑ धेहि । रे॒वद॑ग्ने वि॒श्वामि॑त्रेषु॒ शं योर्म॑र्मृ॒ज्मा ते॑ त॒न्वं१॒॑ भूरि॒ कृत्वः॑
ucchociṣā sahasasputra stuto bṛhadvayaḥ śaśamāneṣu dhehi revadagne viśvāmitreṣu śaṃ yormarmṛjmā te tanvaṃ1 bhūri kṛtvaḥ
O Agni, praised by the thousand sons, exalted pair, pour forth upon those seated; I call you to spread renown among our foes; make you body numerous and strong by mighty deeds.

कृ॒धि रत्नं॑ सुसनित॒र्धना॑नां॒ स घेद॑ग्ने भवसि॒ यत्समि॑द्धः । स्तो॒तुर्दु॑रो॒णे सु॒भग॑स्य रे॒वत्सृ॒प्रा क॒रस्ना॑ दधिषे॒ वपूं॑षि
kṛdhi ratnaṃ susanitardhanānāṃ sa ghedagne bhavasi yatsamiddhaḥ stoturduroṇe subhagasya revatsṛprā karasnā dadhiṣe vapūṃṣi
Grant riches and well-ordered wealth, Agni, to men of noble rank; be thou the giver of prize. Praise thee, O radiant one, spreading glory of life, may thou bestow bodily strength and abundant prosperity.
