Desiring with wood and butter, I offer this oblation to Agni, the purifier, to secure strength. As long as the worshipper praises with mind and devotion, may this goddess of thought be propitious a hundredfold.

Desirous (of wealth) I offer to you Agni, an oblation with butter and with fuel for your speed and invigoration, praising you with a holy prayer as much as I am able; I propitiate you that you may render this praise resplendent with infinite treasure.

With fuel, Agni, and with oil, desirous, mine offering I present for strength and conquest, With prayer, so far as I have power, adoring-this hymn divine to gain a hundred treasures.
