तद॑स्मै॒ नव्य॑मङ्गिर॒स्वद॑र्चत॒ शुष्मा॒ यद॑स्य प्र॒त्नथो॒दीर॑ते । विश्वा॒ यद्गो॒त्रा सह॑सा॒ परी॑वृता॒ मदे॒ सोम॑स्य दृंहि॒तान्यैर॑यत्
tadasmai navyamaṅgirasvadarcata śuṣmā yadasya pratnathodīrate viśvā yadgotrā sahasā parīvṛtā made somasya dṛṃhitānyairayat
He offered to him the new Mangiras with fresh homage, the subtle praise by which his former efforts were upheld; all clans were suddenly enveloped and the mighty Soma’s gifts were laid upon him.

स भू॑तु॒ यो ह॑ प्रथ॒माय॒ धाय॑स॒ ओजो॒ मिमा॑नो महि॒मान॒माति॑रत् । शूरो॒ यो यु॒त्सु त॒न्वं॑ परि॒व्यत॑ शी॒र्षणि॒ द्यां म॑हि॒ना प्रत्य॑मुञ्चत
sa bhūtu yo ha prathamāya dhāyasa ojo mimāno mahimānamātirat śūro yo yutsu tanvaṃ parivyata śīrṣaṇi dyāṃ mahinā pratyamuñcata
He who first became mighty, pouring forth vigour, surpassed the great in strength. The brave one who joined in conflict threw out the headgear of heaven and cast down the lofty of the earth.

अधा॑कृणोः प्रथ॒मं वी॒र्यं॑ म॒हद्यद॒स्याग्रे॒ ब्रह्म॑णा॒ शुष्म॒मैर॑यः । र॒थे॒ष्ठेन॒ हर्य॑श्वेन॒ विच्यु॑ताः॒ प्र जी॒रयः॑ सिस्रते स॒ध्र्य१॒॑क्पृथ॑क्
adhākṛṇoḥ prathamaṃ vīryaṃ mahadyadasyāgre brahmaṇā śuṣmamairayaḥ ratheṣṭhena haryaśvena vicyutāḥ pra jīrayaḥ sisrate sadhrya1kpṛthak
He took first the great vigour with holy songs; those thrown from the best chariot and the swift steed were driven apart. The embattled hosts were crushed and scattered afar.

अधा॒ यो विश्वा॒ भुव॑ना॒भि म॒ज्मने॑शान॒कृत्प्रव॑या अ॒भ्यव॑र्धत । आद्रोद॑सी॒ ज्योति॑षा॒ वह्नि॒रात॑नो॒त्सीव्य॒न्तमां॑सि॒ दुधि॑ता॒ सम॑व्ययत्
adhā yo viśvā bhuvanābhi majmaneśānakṛtpravayā abhyavardhata ādrodasī jyotiṣā vahnirātanotsīvyantamāṃsi dudhitā samavyayat
He who spread widely made all worlds to increase; he stirred up the bright flames of fire, who agitated the inner parts and made the breast expand — the flesh rejoiced at that.

स प्रा॒चीना॒न्पर्व॑तान्दृंह॒दोज॑साधरा॒चीन॑मकृणोद॒पामपः॑ । अधा॑रयत्पृथि॒वीं वि॒श्वधा॑यस॒मस्त॑भ्नान्मा॒यया॒ द्याम॑व॒स्रसः॑
sa prācīnānparvatāndṛṃhadojasādharācīnamakṛṇodapāmapaḥ adhārayatpṛthivīṃ viśvadhāyasamastabhnānmāyayā dyāmavasrasaḥ
He set ancient mountains as supports and made watery springs flow; he established the earth for all to tread, and by wondrous art he spread the atmospheres and drained the waters.

सास्मा॒ अरं॑ बा॒हुभ्यां॒ यं पि॒ताकृ॑णो॒द्विश्व॑स्मा॒दा ज॒नुषो॒ वेद॑स॒स्परि॑ । येना॑ पृथि॒व्यां नि क्रिविं॑ श॒यध्यै॒ वज्रे॑ण ह॒त्व्यवृ॑णक्तुवि॒ष्वणिः॑
sāsmā araṃ bāhubhyāṃ yaṃ pitākṛṇodviśvasmādā januṣo vedasaspari yenā pṛthivyāṃ ni kriviṃ śayadhyai vajreṇa hatvyavṛṇaktuviṣvaṇiḥ
From him the outer arms and the breast were fashioned; he who made the dwellings knew the peoples. By him they shaped the earth and with the bolt they bound the heaven and the abyss.

अ॒मा॒जूरि॑व पि॒त्रोः सचा॑ स॒ती स॑मा॒नादा सद॑स॒स्त्वामि॑ये॒ भग॑म् । कृ॒धि प्र॑के॒तमुप॑ मा॒स्या भ॑र द॒द्धि भा॒गं त॒न्वो॒३॒॑ येन॑ मा॒महः॑
amājūriva pitroḥ sacā satī samānādā sadasastvāmiye bhagam kṛdhi praketamupa māsyā bhara daddhi bhāgaṃ tanvo3 yena māmahaḥ
Like a mother and father united, equally steadfast and constant, I invoke you, O Lord. Make known your work; grant the portion to my share by which I may be vigorous.

भो॒जं त्वामि॑न्द्र व॒यं हु॑वेम द॒दिष्ट्वमि॒न्द्रापां॑सि॒ वाजा॑न् । अ॒वि॒ड्ढी॑न्द्र चि॒त्रया॑ न ऊ॒ती कृ॒धि वृ॑षन्निन्द्र॒ वस्य॑सो नः
bhojaṃ tvāmindra vayaṃ huvema dadiṣṭvamindrāpāṃsi vājān aviḍḍhīndra citrayā na ūtī kṛdhi vṛṣannindra vasyaso naḥ
We offer you Indra the feast; we invoke Indra with the draughts of cows and kine. Indra, decked with wondrous might, bestow on us abundant vigour and wealth.

नू॒नं सा ते॒ प्रति॒ वरं॑ जरि॒त्रे दु॑ही॒यदि॑न्द्र॒ दक्षि॑णा म॒घोनी॑ । शिक्षा॑ स्तो॒तृभ्यो॒ माति॑ ध॒ग्भगो॑ नो बृ॒हद्व॑देम वि॒दथे॑ सु॒वीराः॑
nūnaṃ sā te prati varaṃ jaritre duhīyadindra dakṣiṇā maghonī śikṣā stotṛbhyo māti dhagbhago no bṛhadvadema vidathe suvīrāḥ
Indeed give her as gift, O Indra, the favour formerly won; as a willing milker grant the southern portion. Teach the praise-singers; may the mighty vow protect us and grant wide understanding to the brave.
