Indeed give her as gift, O Indra, the favour formerly won; as a willing milker grant the southern portion. Teach the praise-singers; may the mighty vow protect us and grant wide understanding to the brave.

That opulent donation which proceeds, Indra, from you, assuredly bestows upon him who praises you, the boon that he desires; grant (it) to (us) your adorers; do not you, who are the object of adoration, disregard our prayers; so that, blessed with worthy descendants, we may glorify you at this sacrifice.

Now may that weaithy Cow of thine, O Indra, give in return a boon to him who lauds thee. Give to thy praisers: let not fortune fail us. Loud may we speak, with heroes, in assembly.
