इ॒दं त॒ एकं॑ प॒र ऊ॑ त॒ एकं॑ तृ॒तीये॑न॒ ज्योति॑षा॒ सं वि॑शस्व । सं॒वेश॑ने त॒न्व१॒॑श्चारु॑रेधि प्रि॒यो दे॒वानां॑ पर॒मे ज॒नित्रे॑
idaṃ ta ekaṃ para ū ta ekaṃ tṛtīyena jyotiṣā saṃ viśasva saṃveśane tanva1ścāruredhi priyo devānāṃ parame janitre
This one—one alone; that one—alone; by a third the lights spread. In the assembling their forms grew fortyfold; beloved in the supreme progenitor of gods.

त॒नूष्टे॑ वाजिन्त॒न्वं१॒॑ नय॑न्ती वा॒मम॒स्मभ्यं॒ धातु॒ शर्म॒ तुभ्य॑म् । अह्रु॑तो म॒हो ध॒रुणा॑य दे॒वान्दि॒वी॑व॒ ज्योतिः॒ स्वमा मि॑मीयाः
tanūṣṭe vājintanvaṃ1 nayantī vāmamasmabhyaṃ dhātu śarma tubhyam ahruto maho dharuṇāya devāndivīva jyotiḥ svamā mimīyāḥ
The mighty bearers bore the body; they led the host to our left; may strength and splendor be yours. They declared the great day to the bearer of earth—shine, O light; you are desired by us.

वा॒ज्य॑सि॒ वाजि॑नेना सुवे॒नीः सु॑वि॒तः स्तोमं॑ सुवि॒तो दिवं॑ गाः । सु॒वि॒तो धर्म॑ प्रथ॒मानु॑ स॒त्या सु॑वि॒तो दे॒वान्सु॑वि॒तोऽनु॒ पत्म॑
vājyasi vājinenā suvenīḥ suvitaḥ stomaṃ suvito divaṃ gāḥ suvito dharma prathamānu satyā suvito devānsuvito'nu patma
You, O wealth-bringer, to the wealthy one are like well-matched companions, pleasant, celebrated—praise, well-famed, bring the dawn and the cows to the sky. Well-famed is the foremost law, truthful; well-famed are the gods, well-famed their offspring.

म॒हि॒म्न ए॑षां पि॒तर॑श्च॒नेशि॑रे दे॒वा दे॒वेष्व॑दधु॒रपि॒ क्रतु॑म् । सम॑विव्यचुरु॒त यान्यत्वि॑षु॒रैषां॑ त॒नूषु॒ नि वि॑विशुः॒ पुनः॑
mahimna eṣāṃ pitaraścaneśire devā deveṣvadadhurapi kratum samavivyacuruta yānyatviṣuraiṣāṃ tanūṣu ni viviśuḥ punaḥ
Great is the might of these Fathers: the gods preserved the ritual even at the head. They distributed the oblations and entered again into the bodies of those who were foes of death.

सहो॑भि॒र्विश्वं॒ परि॑ चक्रमू॒ रजः॒ पूर्वा॒ धामा॒न्यमि॑ता॒ मिमा॑नाः । त॒नूषु॒ विश्वा॒ भुव॑ना॒ नि ये॑मिरे॒ प्रासा॑रयन्त पुरु॒ध प्र॒जा अनु॑
sahobhirviśvaṃ pari cakramū rajaḥ pūrvā dhāmānyamitā mimānāḥ tanūṣu viśvā bhuvanā ni yemire prāsārayanta purudha prajā anu
Together they encompassed the universe with the brilliant ray; the former abodes they measured out—these widespread ones traversed the bodies and extended progeny everywhere.

द्विधा॑ सू॒नवोऽसु॑रं स्व॒र्विद॒मास्था॑पयन्त तृ॒तीये॑न॒ कर्म॑णा । स्वां प्र॒जां पि॒तरः॒ पित्र्यं॒ सह॒ आव॑रेष्वदधु॒स्तन्तु॒मात॑तम्
dvidhā sūnavo'suraṃ svarvidamāsthāpayanta tṛtīyena karmaṇā svāṃ prajāṃ pitaraḥ pitryaṃ saha āvareṣvadadhustantumātatam
Twice the youthful ones established the heavenly and terrestrial laws by the third rite; the Fathers placed their offspring and fatherhood together within the enclosing bonds, intent on protecting them.

ना॒वा न क्षोदः॑ प्र॒दिशः॑ पृथि॒व्याः स्व॒स्तिभि॒रति॑ दु॒र्गाणि॒ विश्वा॑ । स्वां प्र॒जां बृ॒हदु॑क्थो महि॒त्वाव॑रेष्वदधा॒दा परे॑षु
nāvā na kṣodaḥ pradiśaḥ pṛthivyāḥ svastibhirati durgāṇi viśvā svāṃ prajāṃ bṛhaduktho mahitvāvareṣvadadhādā pareṣu
No ship nor storm troubles the regions of the earth; all strongholds are wellbeing. The mighty one, with great utterance, placed his progeny in the enclosing spaces among the others.
