द्विधा॑ सू॒नवोऽसु॑रं स्व॒र्विद॒मास्था॑पयन्त तृ॒तीये॑न॒ कर्म॑णा । स्वां प्र॒जां पि॒तरः॒ पित्र्यं॒ सह॒ आव॑रेष्वदधु॒स्तन्तु॒मात॑तम्
dvidhā sūnavo'suraṃ svarvidamāsthāpayanta tṛtīyena karmaṇā svāṃ prajāṃ pitaraḥ pitryaṃ saha āvareṣvadadhustantumātatam
Twice the youthful ones established the heavenly and terrestrial laws by the third rite; the Fathers placed their offspring and fatherhood together within the enclosing bonds, intent on protecting them.
The sons (of Āditya, the Aṅgirasas), established by the third act of duty, the mighty, all-wise (sun) inhis two-fold (condition of rising and setting); our progenitors (having begotten) their own progeny, deposited inthe best (of them) the paternal strength, (making) an extended line (of progeny).
In two ways have the sons established in his place the Asura who finds the light, by the third act, As fathers, they have set their heritage on earth, their offspring, as a thread continuously spun out.
