Great is the might of these Fathers: the gods preserved the ritual even at the head. They distributed the oblations and entered again into the bodies of those who were foes of death.
Our progenitors (the Aṅgirasas) were lords over the might of those (divinities), they having becomegods imposed their will upon the gods; they attained also (the radiances) which shone forth, and they againentered the bodies of those (gods).
Part of their grandeur have the Fathers also gained: the Gods have seated mental power in them as Gods. They have embraced within themselves all energies, which, issuing forth, again into their bodies pass.
