आ या॒त्विन्द्रः॒ स्वप॑ति॒र्मदा॑य॒ यो धर्म॑णा तूतुजा॒नस्तुवि॑ष्मान् । प्र॒त्व॒क्षा॒णो अति॒ विश्वा॒ सहां॑स्यपा॒रेण॑ मह॒ता वृष्ण्ये॑न
ā yātvindraḥ svapatirmadāya yo dharmaṇā tūtujānastuviṣmān pratvakṣāṇo ati viśvā sahāṃsyapāreṇa mahatā vṛṣṇyena
May Indra, lord of wealth, who came and was delighted, who by righteousness hailed these famous ones, rush forth; may he, with mighty Vrishni, go beyond all with great might.

सु॒ष्ठामा॒ रथः॑ सु॒यमा॒ हरी॑ ते मि॒म्यक्ष॒ वज्रो॑ नृपते॒ गभ॑स्तौ । शीभं॑ राजन्सु॒पथा या॑ह्य॒र्वाङ्वर्धा॑म ते प॒पुषो॒ वृष्ण्या॑नि
suṣṭhāmā rathaḥ suyamā harī te mimyakṣa vajro nṛpate gabhastau śībhaṃ rājansupathā yāhyarvāṅvardhāma te papuṣo vṛṣṇyāni
The excellent chariot, the horse-best, the well-reined—observe these; the bolt for the king in the belly. O king, the noble pathway that impels speech, may it strengthen your Vrishni tribes and your steeds.

एन्द्र॒वाहो॑ नृ॒पतिं॒ वज्र॑बाहुमु॒ग्रमु॒ग्रास॑स्तवि॒षास॑ एनम् । प्रत्व॑क्षसं वृष॒भं स॒त्यशु॑ष्म॒मेम॑स्म॒त्रा स॑ध॒मादो॑ वहन्तु
endravāho nṛpatiṃ vajrabāhumugramugrāsastaviṣāsa enam pratvakṣasaṃ vṛṣabhaṃ satyaśuṣmamemasmatrā sadhamādo vahantu
O bearer of Indra, king, with the strong-armed, terrible, fierce, bring this poison away. Directly drive the bull of strength, the truthful, scorching one, carry these gifts of righteousness henceforth.

ए॒वा पतिं॑ द्रोण॒साचं॒ सचे॑तसमू॒र्जः स्क॒म्भं ध॒रुण॒ आ वृ॑षायसे । ओजः॑ कृष्व॒ सं गृ॑भाय॒ त्वे अप्यसो॒ यथा॑ केनि॒पाना॑मि॒नो वृ॒धे
evā patiṃ droṇasācaṃ sacetasamūrjaḥ skambhaṃ dharuṇa ā vṛṣāyase ojaḥ kṛṣva saṃ gṛbhāya tve apyaso yathā kenipānāmino vṛdhe
Erect this lord like a trough with its bearing beams, sturdy, supporting the vault for the bull. Make vigor, gather strength into the belly; grant also as to the ancient drinkers of kine.

गम॑न्न॒स्मे वसू॒न्या हि शंसि॑षं स्वा॒शिषं॒ भर॒मा या॑हि सो॒मिनः॑ । त्वमी॑शिषे॒ सास्मिन्ना स॑त्सि ब॒र्हिष्य॑नाधृ॒ष्या तव॒ पात्रा॑णि॒ धर्म॑णा
gamannasme vasūnyā hi śaṃsiṣaṃ svāśiṣaṃ bharamā yāhi sominaḥ tvamīśiṣe sāsminnā satsi barhiṣyanādhṛṣyā tava pātrāṇi dharmaṇā
Come to us, wealthy ones, bearing blessings, carry the praise of the Soma-drinker. You have decreed these oblations for us; in this place be thou the vessel of rites by righteousness.

पृथ॒क्प्राय॑न्प्रथ॒मा दे॒वहू॑त॒योऽकृ॑ण्वत श्रव॒स्या॑नि दु॒ष्टरा॑ । न ये शे॒कुर्य॒ज्ञियां॒ नाव॑मा॒रुह॑मी॒र्मैव ते न्य॑विशन्त॒ केप॑यः
pṛthakprāyanprathamā devahūtayo'kṛṇvata śravasyāni duṣṭarā na ye śekuryajñiyāṃ nāvamāruhamīrmaiva te nyaviśanta kepayaḥ
Formerly they did not perform the divine rites apart; they made offerings in the assemblies and dishonored none. Those who did not accomplish the sacrificial obligations we did not send on ships—these very ones have arrived within our midst, the chiefs.

ए॒वैवापा॒गप॑रे सन्तु दू॒ढ्योऽश्वा॒ येषां॑ दु॒र्युज॑ आयुयु॒ज्रे । इ॒त्था ये प्रागुप॑रे॒ सन्ति॑ दा॒वने॑ पु॒रूणि॒ यत्र॑ व॒युना॑नि॒ भोज॑ना
evaivāpāgapare santu dūḍhyo'śvā yeṣāṃ duryuja āyuyujre itthā ye prāgupare santi dāvane purūṇi yatra vayunāni bhojanā
Thus let those horses be milked who yoked together in front and behind, whose strength was matched; those previously in the fore and rear, in the enclosures where winds and victuals are present.

गि॒रीँरज्रा॒न्रेज॑मानाँ अधारय॒द्द्यौः क्र॑न्दद॒न्तरि॑क्षाणि कोपयत् । स॒मी॒ची॒ने धि॒षणे॒ वि ष्क॑भायति॒ वृष्णः॑ पी॒त्वा मद॑ उ॒क्थानि॑ शंसति
girīm̐rajrānrejamānām̐ adhārayaddyauḥ krandadantarikṣāṇi kopayat samīcīne dhiṣaṇe vi ṣkabhāyati vṛṣṇaḥ pītvā mada ukthāni śaṃsati
He made the mountains tremble, rent the clouds, shook the heavens and the spaces; he angered the mid-air. The Vrishni, having drunk, praised the hymns and the intoxicating songs with fervor.

इ॒मं बि॑भर्मि॒ सुकृ॑तं ते अङ्कु॒शं येना॑रु॒जासि॑ मघवञ्छफा॒रुजः॑ । अ॒स्मिन्सु ते॒ सव॑ने अस्त्वो॒क्यं॑ सु॒त इ॒ष्टौ म॑घवन्बो॒ध्याभ॑गः
imaṃ bibharmi sukṛtaṃ te aṅkuśaṃ yenārujāsi maghavañchaphārujaḥ asminsu te savane astvokyaṃ suta iṣṭau maghavanbodhyābhagaḥ
I bear this well-made hook of yours by which you urged on the chariot, O Maghavan, far-striding. In your assembly may there be for us the desired portion, O giver, the apportioned share.

गोभि॑ष्टरे॒माम॑तिं दु॒रेवां॒ यवे॑न॒ क्षुधं॑ पुरुहूत॒ विश्वा॑म् । व॒यं राज॑भिः प्रथ॒मा धना॑न्य॒स्माके॑न वृ॒जने॑ना जयेम
gobhiṣṭaremāmatiṃ durevāṃ yavena kṣudhaṃ puruhūta viśvām vayaṃ rājabhiḥ prathamā dhanānyasmākena vṛjanenā jayema
For the bestowal of cows, of abundant wealth, for the distant mother and for barley, with those grains as offerings for hunger the priests universally—may we conquer with kings as foremost by the cattle-grazing booty.

बृह॒स्पति॑र्नः॒ परि॑ पातु प॒श्चादु॒तोत्त॑रस्मा॒दध॑रादघा॒योः । इन्द्रः॑ पु॒रस्ता॑दु॒त म॑ध्य॒तो नः॒ सखा॒ सखि॑भ्यो॒ वरि॑वः कृणोतु
bṛhaspatirnaḥ pari pātu paścādutottarasmādadharādaghāyoḥ indraḥ purastāduta madhyato naḥ sakhā sakhibhyo varivaḥ kṛṇotu
May Brihaspati protect us around from behind and above, from below and from the depths. Indra, in front, and the messenger in the midst—make for us companions and friends, bestowers of wealth.
