गि॒रीँरज्रा॒न्रेज॑मानाँ अधारय॒द्द्यौः क्र॑न्दद॒न्तरि॑क्षाणि कोपयत् । स॒मी॒ची॒ने धि॒षणे॒ वि ष्क॑भायति॒ वृष्णः॑ पी॒त्वा मद॑ उ॒क्थानि॑ शंसति
girīm̐rajrānrejamānām̐ adhārayaddyauḥ krandadantarikṣāṇi kopayat samīcīne dhiṣaṇe vi ṣkabhāyati vṛṣṇaḥ pītvā mada ukthāni śaṃsati
He made the mountains tremble, rent the clouds, shook the heavens and the spaces; he angered the mid-air. The Vrishni, having drunk, praised the hymns and the intoxicating songs with fervor.
(Indra) has arrested the wandering tremulous clouds; the heaven cries out (in alarm); he agitates thefirmament; he fixes the combined heaven and earth; having drunk of the effused Soma, he repeats praises in hisexhilaration.
He firmly fixed the plains and mountains as they shook. Dyaus thundered forth and made the air's mid-region quake. He stays apart the two confronting bowls; he sings lauds in the potent Soma's joy when he hath drunk.
