Erect this lord like a trough with its bearing beams, sturdy, supporting the vault for the bull. Make vigor, gather strength into the belly; grant also as to the ancient drinkers of kine.
Verily, Indra, you pour into your capacious (stomach) the protecting (Soma), serving the woodentrough, intelligent, holding strength; bestow (upon us) vigour; take us into yourself, for you are the lord for theexaltation of the wise.
So like a Bull thou rushest to the Lord who loves the trough, the Sage, the prop of vigour, in the vat, Prepare thine energies, collect them in thyself: be for our profit as the Master of the wise.
