प्रो ष्व॑स्मै पुरोर॒थमिन्द्रा॑य शू॒षम॑र्चत । अ॒भीके॑ चिदु लोक॒कृत्सं॒गे स॒मत्सु॑ वृत्र॒हास्माकं॑ बोधि चोदि॒ता नभ॑न्तामन्य॒केषां॑ ज्या॒का अधि॒ धन्व॑सु
pro ṣvasmai purorathamindrāya śūṣamarcata abhīke cidu lokakṛtsaṃge samatsu vṛtrahāsmākaṃ bodhi coditā nabhantāmanyakeṣāṃ jyākā adhi dhanvasu
Bring sound to him foremost in the city, O Indra, and arrange the gathered hosts; you have revealed to us many aerial places and strengthened our bow-bearing men.

त्वं सिन्धू॒ँरवा॑सृजोऽध॒राचो॒ अह॒न्नहि॑म् । अ॒श॒त्रुरि॑न्द्र जज्ञिषे॒ विश्वं॑ पुष्यसि॒ वार्यं॒ तं त्वा॒ परि॑ ष्वजामहे॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒केषां॑ ज्या॒का अधि॒ धन्व॑सु
tvaṃ sindhūm̐ravāsṛjo'dharāco ahannahim aśatrurindra jajñiṣe viśvaṃ puṣyasi vāryaṃ taṃ tvā pari ṣvajāmahe nabhantāmanyakeṣāṃ jyākā adhi dhanvasu
You made the rivers flow under the sky; I will strike the foeman, O Indra; you nourish the universe. We venerate you who pours forth the rain, O mighty one who pierces many skies.

वि षु विश्वा॒ अरा॑तयो॒ऽर्यो न॑शन्त नो॒ धियः॑ । अस्ता॑सि॒ शत्र॑वे व॒धं यो न॑ इन्द्र॒ जिघां॑सति॒ या ते॑ रा॒तिर्द॒दिर्वसु॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒केषां॑ ज्या॒का अधि॒ धन्व॑सु
vi ṣu viśvā arātayo'ryo naśanta no dhiyaḥ astāsi śatrave vadhaṃ yo na indra jighāṃsati yā te rātirdadirvasu nabhantāmanyakeṣāṃ jyākā adhi dhanvasu
May all foes perish in battles so that our counsels do not fail; you stand against the enemy’s slaughter, O Indra, and grant to us the night that brings wealth.

यो न॑ इन्द्रा॒भितो॒ जनो॑ वृका॒युरा॒दिदे॑शति । अ॒ध॒स्प॒दं तमीं॑ कृधि विबा॒धो अ॑सि सास॒हिर्नभ॑न्तामन्य॒केषां॑ ज्या॒का अधि॒ धन्व॑सु
yo na indrābhito jano vṛkāyurādideśati adhaspadaṃ tamīṃ kṛdhi vibādho asi sāsahirnabhantāmanyakeṣāṃ jyākā adhi dhanvasu
He who is not near Indra made the people like wolves and drove them from their lands; O strong one, strike down the dark region — you are the vigorous guardian of many skies.

यो न॑ इन्द्राभि॒दास॑ति॒ सना॑भि॒र्यश्च॒ निष्ट्यः॑ । अव॒ तस्य॒ बलं॑ तिर म॒हीव॒ द्यौरध॒ त्मना॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒केषां॑ ज्या॒का अधि॒ धन्व॑सु
yo na indrābhidāsati sanābhiryaśca niṣṭyaḥ ava tasya balaṃ tira mahīva dyauradha tmanā nabhantāmanyakeṣāṃ jyākā adhi dhanvasu
He who boldly defies Indra and the hosts, he who trusts his band — his might is turned; the earth and heaven resist him, O warrior who bears arms across many skies.

व॒यमि॑न्द्र त्वा॒यवः॑ सखि॒त्वमा र॑भामहे । ऋ॒तस्य॑ नः प॒था न॒याति॒ विश्वा॑नि दुरि॒ता नभ॑न्तामन्य॒केषां॑ ज्या॒का अधि॒ धन्व॑सु
vayamindra tvāyavaḥ sakhitvamā rabhāmahe ṛtasya naḥ pathā nayāti viśvāni duritā nabhantāmanyakeṣāṃ jyākā adhi dhanvasu
We, O Indra, your friends, extol your radiance; lead our ways in rightness so that all ills be removed by your mighty bow across the skies.

अ॒स्मभ्यं॒ सु त्वमि॑न्द्र॒ तां शि॑क्ष॒ या दोह॑ते॒ प्रति॒ वरं॑ जरि॒त्रे । अच्छि॑द्रोध्नी पी॒पय॒द्यथा॑ नः स॒हस्र॑धारा॒ पय॑सा म॒ही गौः
asmabhyaṃ su tvamindra tāṃ śikṣa yā dohate prati varaṃ jaritre acchidrodhnī pīpayadyathā naḥ sahasradhārā payasā mahī gauḥ
Indra, teach us that kine-bearing skill which yields oil as a milch-cow yields milk; may streams of abundant waters flow for us like thousandfold rivers.
