यो न॑ इन्द्रा॒भितो॒ जनो॑ वृका॒युरा॒दिदे॑शति । अ॒ध॒स्प॒दं तमीं॑ कृधि विबा॒धो अ॑सि सास॒हिर्नभ॑न्तामन्य॒केषां॑ ज्या॒का अधि॒ धन्व॑सु
yo na indrābhito jano vṛkāyurādideśati adhaspadaṃ tamīṃ kṛdhi vibādho asi sāsahirnabhantāmanyakeṣāṃ jyākā adhi dhanvasu
He who is not near Indra made the people like wolves and drove them from their lands; O strong one, strike down the dark region — you are the vigorous guardian of many skies.
The man who, like a wolf, prowls around us, O Indra, cast him beneath our feet, for you are theresister, the overcomer (of foes); may the bowstrings on the bows of our enemies be destroyed.
The robber people round about, Indra, who watch and aim at us,- Trample them down beneath thy foot; a conquering scatterer art thou.
